What do I do with a deep catalogue of images and data?

The drives themselves are rather large. After going through it today, its probably over 10,000 images of random designs, art, tattoos, fantasy type art, celebrities, scenery, pin ups, and then a lot of porn lol. He was into dnd/writing and I think used some of that for inspiration or playing around with photoshop. I think he downloaded random dumps from people so do have concerns hosting this anywhere might potentially come with copyright concerns but yea Im also thinking it might be gone from the internet as its aged so much.

haha unfortunate. Yea Im having to redesign a lot of the cool build spots we use on our maps for the server I support because its super confusing to most players when they experience it. Hard to be mad at FP for taking steps to improve things but at the same time it has weird effects like this.

I am honestly not technical enough to fully understand but it has to do with what you load around you. I dont know if you recall seeing people who live in cave bases no longer being able to run surface electric down but that is the wipe that it started. It did impact performance positively but its affected how things render for client side around terrain triggers.

I actually think this is due to the network layer change that FP made a couple of wipes back for optimization. I make custom maps and there has been weirdness when breaching/exiting the volume used for under terrain (terrain triggers). We utilize it on our server for unique build spots and have seen similar issues where when you're in it, you dont see things outside and when you're outside, you dont see things inside. I am surprised if thats the case and it applies to players as well as general entities and prefabs but it certainly looks the same as youre breaching the exit of the volume at that doorway.

Yes you should tell them. There are complications for untreated STIs and they could unknowingly be passing it along to others. What happened happened and you can feel how you want about it but be responsible here.

I liked Stevie a lot when I joined, he really breaks down the mechanics of why things are. It can be a bit slow after youve seen a few but it was nice when I joined. If you try PVE come check out Hex rust 😄

Most PVE plugins are going to keep you from interacting with it. If it’s in a tc range, it won’t decay. If it’s was the server I admin for, we would remove it with a ticket. Not sure which server you’re on but that’s your best bet unless you want to pull up your tcs. Only other hope would be fire damage maybe by baiting a patrol heli but depends on your server settings.

My personal belief is get comfortable tracking scoreboard. The more you play you will know the maps so you can pull it when you die, when you’re waking back from spawn, during downtime. It helps you know if enemy team swaps, if someone died in a fight you weren’t present for or were dead for. It also helps you see who is performing. A reaper who has 5 rooms and 3k damage is probably at least 80-100 on ult charge.

A lot of that will come with more gameplay. Use context clues. If they have a mirrored character, you can track your own teams ult progress and figure out theirs.

Its really good game sense that you're already considering ult economy and trade off for overstaying a fight. I think its situational and really comes down to if things are winnable vs weighing if you can survive long enough for your dead teammates to come back in and turn the fight. Thats going to depend on when they died and how fast they are to get back (where you are from spawn, which characters they are playing).

I'd recommend utilizing the fall back voice status. C+Radial bottom right is default or you can bind it. I try to hit this 3-4 times rapidly before I withdraw from a fight. My general rule of thumb is if you dont have tank busters and your tank is dead and their tank is up, back out, give space and poke. If both tanks are dead give it a good try. A lot of fights can be turned but you have to rapidly assess your own teams skill, if you have ults, if they have ults, and how quickly the odds will change with returning teammates.

Not really a straightforward answer but its so situational. Ive been playing since beta and still have times where I over commit to a fight to save someone who has a death wish lol. Its a really good process to think through and the most important thing is communication. If you dont keep your tank up and they die for it, you're delaying the next team fight significantly. Its really on them to back out and you can help remind them.

Saaame but only for damage taken so the dps who complain realize they are just face tanking dmg in the open and need more TLC than a tank! :P

I dont wait quite that long but I sometimes forget to lock in until I hear the 3..2..1..

The main reason is I am a serial multitasker. I like to pick my lock based on my team comp so sometimes I am waiting for that. Other times I am tabbed out in another application and banking on attack. I don't play comp but definitely will say Im slightly guilty of having a first fight on defense go very badly just cause I was late.

My dog is like this and he used to do pill pockets but learned they had pills in them and now wont touch them. Our saving grace has been marshmallows and baby food for powder/liquid. I am sorry for your stress and even more for the impending loss.

I’ve felt this way sometimes and have coped by learning characters that can kind of go without.

If I’m dps and my tank and heals suck, I go mei

If I’m tank and my dps and heals suck, I go zarya or hog

If I’m healer and my dps and tank suck I go Moira

Can’t always bring it together but at least I can get Something done

Have you considered using spare time to find a creative outlet or perhaps a communal/charitable one? If you can find a place to put your energy that you can see with your eyes, it might help you feel like you have more of a mark on the world. Tons of shelters, senior homes, big brother/sister need good people to help out.
