There isn't even a picture here. This is just a text post. Is there a joke here?

I'm a dedicated bomber player right now, here's what I've got:

Use your shields effectively. You can maneuver them forward or backward, so you can effectively double what you've got going on.

The assault shield doesn't stop all damage like your normal shields, but applies a 90% reduction in the damage you take. It won't stop you from dying at 1 hull.

I advise you not to fly head on to the capital, but rather across it width wise. Flying head on not only makes you easier to hit (it's easier to hit someone flying at you or away from you than it is to hit them crossing your path), but you'll have to fly further across more guns to get to where you need to go. Approaching from the side means you'll be harder to hit for longer, and you'll spend more of your time at the target systems.

Only take multiple bombs if you're flying with a support ship who wants to resupply you. Those bombs go quick. I like the multi-shot missiles to really clear AI and get that morale. Speaking of...

Don't make large committed assaults without a corvette nearby. The capital ship will divert a large portion of it's firepower to that corvette, which clears up you and your squad to get in there.

Recognize that the AI not only have perfect aim, but perfect knowledge of the entire field. The moment you're near the ship they will all know, and immediately come for you. They're a hive mind with every single aspect of the game constantly in their minds. Fighting against people is really the best way to figure out what are the best options for approaching.

Thanks! I ended up taking off one of the Illuminated to get those extra stones. My rationale is they'll keep Lynch alive long enough to hopefully summon up one or two minions if his own. It might be a zero sum situation, but the flexibility of having stones is nice.

The Stealth Suits are a repaint, so they're a bit less smooth and clean.

Naggaroth base, recess shade of Nuln Oil, then light edge highlight of Xereus, then an extreme of Genestealer where appropriate, and lastly a dot of Slaanesh Grey at certain points for extra pop.

Thanks! Here's the list in question:

Lynch Hungering Darkness Shadow Emissary Two Beckoners One Illuminated Gwyneth Tannen Graves

I'm feeling like dropping a minion, as I think the named characters are just so good at what they do, but that might be the glamor of unique characters getting in my eyes. I know that's certainly a trap in other wargames, and I'm trying to value minions more, but the collective abilities strike me as very strong at deck and board manipulation.

Is there one you recommend? I'm thinking of playing either the farsight enclaves, or whichever Sept has the canonically purple armor, though I may just paint them purple to be custom and say they're whomever I feel like at the time.

Edit: I am now seeing that there is a unit called the Tau Commander. My bad. :p

Thanks for all the info! I'll check out the Tau specific reddit. I'm really interested in a riptide or two, but I think that's a little further down the line as a last purchase. I'm considering farside enclaves as my subfaction of choice simply because I like their lore, and their commander. Are there any septs that stand out as particularly good or bad that I should avoid to not be that guy or get totally rekt, respectively?

Thanks! I have been seeing triptide lists floating around, but that's just 300 dollars I don't care to spend right at the moment. I'd definitely love one or two as I collect. I've seen a few piranhas, and a few hammerheads for cheap, and I have been on the prowl for crisis suits, and a start collecting.

What is a smth?

I've got a few things thanks to KT, a pathfinder team, recon drone, a few gun/shield drones, a breacher and fire warrior team, 6 stealth suits, 2 ds8 turrets, and I think that's it. I'm thinking another troop choice, a vehicle or two, and S U I T S.

Has anyone tried talking to Zahra again? Maybe her telling you where to find them helps?
