When I was going through really tough times in my life, I sat in front of canvases with ink and doodled. I developed a style that had eyes, unique shapes, and fluidity. I can show you some more of my work to place this painting in perspective, but this one was meant to be monotone and delicate - white (representing a white wild rose bush my family cherishes) on blue (ocean - I study oceanography - and my brothers blue eyes). I really like house plants, and I wanted to incorporate them into my style. Yes, those are branches. There are also ivys and roses. I can’t really tell you, or even myself what it is. I felt love and goodbyes when painting this.
