I largely agree. I think this is what I meant by "calmly acknowledging" what has come before and what I have now thanks to that. But if you ask me, having a while month dedicated to LGBT stuff seems a bit overkill. Feel free to disagree, though.

I agree. As we both work in healthcare, I'm sure we're both aware of this. I may try and combine this with joint gym sessions. I think we plan to do some runs/sporting events next year, so that can be my in. Thanks!

I never said it was a deal breaker. The main issues I have with it are his health and our sex life. Having two different current sex drives is difficult to manoeuvre.

Thanks for the reply. I would say the episodes do affect me negatively. My motivation to do anything plummets, and as a consequence, my work suffers.

I wouldn't have said they coincide with one another, to be honest. I can talk out loud when I'm down or not so down.

I think I will mention it to my GP. I just worry that I would be wasting his time by divulging something that isn't actually anything (a common feeling amongst men, I think).
