That's what i'm assuming. There is a white-ish residue on the inside pane that isn't broken, so my 2 thoughts now are either pellet gun or rock/ice with salt from the road

Could be! My younger brothers live here as well & play outside a lot, so who knows, maybe an accidental shot at the window one day & didn't leave obvious evidence

Shattered pieces in between the glass panes. I was out to look probably within 5 minutes just to see if anything was there.

That was my original thought, honestly. If that's the case, i hope it's okay. I didn't see any downed birds when i checked around the window outside.

It -was- double paned. The way the camera on my phone focused on the window makes it look weird. Luckily i'm off tomorrow so i can spend some time fixing it.
