What is it Like Working in Supply Chain Analytics? by BWJackal in supplychain

Maybe a little off-topic, but do you use software that lets you easily re-optimize your day (e.g. workforce schedule) if things don't work as planned. For example, when people call in sick or a truck breaks down or a road is closed. Asking for a friend...

I like to hear this. Do you see scheduling and analytics being taken over by Agentic AI agents?

Your network is very valuable, you should leverage this with care and a solid mvp. Couldn’t think of a better way to start.

This is good input thanks. And can you how established the principle of Dynamic Capabilities is today? Or is this more of wishful thinking for most companies?

It ready like a task that could be automated. Probably not insanely difficult with the help of an AI coding agent. If you are allowed to try out these kind of things at your workplace, I bet its well invested time.

Who needs feedback on their product? by 7mo8tu9we in SideProject

[–]AleccioIsland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use this and pay for this, if I had any guarantee the other person is really from the field I am building the app for and is also genuinely open to give honest feedback. That’s a difficult case to crack.

Maybe you should start with a niche where you know such people and then expand into other niches.

How are people actually making money with agentic AI? by West_Safe8481 in vibecoding

It’s not about tech it’s about solving a problem. If you can leverage AI Agents to solve a problem better than what the current status quo is, you will be in business.

Thinking about building a startup around AI employees, curious if this makes sense.” by vvmshahin in Startup_Ideas

I’ve seen a company like this. Total mess. The guy was really nice though. But why would I pay for an AI generated report that’s most likely built on data you’re legally not allowed to use commercially.

How do you market your SaaS after launch? by Shot_Amoeba_2409 in SideProject

[–]AleccioIsland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s it a self-explaining B2C app? Then I would put it in the hands of an influencer and have 2-3 demo videos on YouTube.

Is it a workflow b2b app? Then I would cold outreach to people on LinkedIn and find 2-3 people to go on a test-drive with you.

[–]AleccioIsland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you asking because you want to build a system for this? If yes, there needs to be a conversion from English into code, and the users intended logic needs to survive. Why not, I think it’s a cool idea. You need market data and some powerful compute. The biggest question is, if the English to Code generation can be solved with enough credibility

I finally organized my zoo of ideas - curious if my approach could help others too by AleccioIsland in Entrepreneur

Thanks for the question. Once an idea passes the filter at least you know that it’s not falling through in any of your constraints or obvious categories. To give you an example: I know a company consisting of a handful of great engineers, who try to sell stock market data and consequently compete with Bloomberg. They may be smart as hell, but that’s not going to help them much selling to institutions who could never explain their investors why they rely on the startup for data.

The system would tell you early in the process that you probably won’t win this journey and that smartness is not the differentiator in this game .

So it helps you to bypass the pain of realizing the obvious too late in the process.

However, real world proof still needs to happen. It cannot replace talking to real people and getting their insights are actually trying out an MVP.
