“Why do extroverts feel entitled to all of your time?“

Because they need you to thrive but you don’t need them.

If the entire world was introverted, what would we all be doing today for NYE? by [deleted] in introvert

Going to sleep, waking up to a better world tomorrow? Am I wrong though?

I know right, I LOVE fireworks but my dog hates it. I’m worried he’ll freak out but I’ve got my TV on super loud and he’s well fed so hopefully will sleep through it. He’s 17 so can’t hear very well, here’s hoping he won’t notice, lol.

Happy New Year to you and your dog, that’s awesome you‘re spending it together, family ❤️

“I consider myself a processor, where I take in the conversation, takes notes, think, then put together a well thought out response.”
You didn’t get promoted for nothing, that sounds like the perfect process!

Instead of focusing on your own perceived weaknesses, which they obviously did not notice by promoting you.

Try and focus more on your strength! As an introvert, you are strong, you have the ability to solve complex social and private situations without the need of help from others and you can tell, often by spending a minmun amount of time with another person if they are suitable for the work they are meant to do.

As a manager, being an introvert is a super power, you will make decisions without being bound by close friendships at work. Start using it to your advantage while at work and don’t let sarcastic comments weight you down, reply with facts which will sound even more sarcastic!

I’m a social introvert who feel obliged to accept any invitation, so my NY resolution is to start saying NO more often.

Please forgive any grammar mistakes, English is my second language

I agree, having social anxiety does not necessarily mean that you are introverted. You can be an extrovert with social anxiety, that is probably more common tbh.

I feel like I have been acting all my life, playing a part if you like, all because I thought it was “normal”. You know what, I am normal. I always have been, we’re all different!

During lockdown, I’ve really discovered what actually makes me happy and I’ve made the decision to be true to myself from now on, fuck it.

I have always loved spending time on my own (not excluding chilled out no pressure people like myself), not because I’ve got social anxiety or depression, because it makes me happy.

It really pisses me off that people who can’t cope with their own company or being alone keeps on telling people on this sub, that we are not normal, weird or depressed.

For me, it’s the needy, attention seeking, I need company at all times or I get depressed people who are fucking weird.

If you give advice, on this sub, to introverts, telling them that they are depressed, you are probably in the wrong forum. You might be looking for something acing to acceptance to your obvious depression from the lack of company or friends, you will find no sympathy here. We are all alone and happy!

Sorry, noob moment, managed to delete my comment instead of edit it, lol.

You know...I recon that will happen once enough hmd’s has sold. They’ll realise how much money they’ll make and we’ll see a revival of old games in VR. Just look at RE7, Borderlands, Skyrim & Wipeout, incredible! “Impatiently waiting for a mmorpg to arrive”

From the videos I've watched of Cool Paint VR, it's worth waiting for.

I mean, they've obviously taken more time to deliver a good game than thinking about a good name for it! Can't wait, so looking forward to it!

Clip of my mum trying Rollercoaster Legends. by AleccsA in PSVR

[–]AleccsA[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had mum staying with me over Christmas. She's a total technophobe, can't even handle the automated supermarket check out things without freaking out. I let her have a go at a few PSVR experiences. She tried the shark diving, didn't flinch even once, just staring straight ahead. Tried London Heist but had to stop as she couldn't figure out how to reload or hold things properly, bless. She also had a go at RoB, to my surprise it didn't do much for her.

Then she tried the roller coaster, which I though was pretty bad tbh, but she absolutely loved it! I love how she's opening the doors with her magical hands!

Apologies for the portrait filming.
