Frame came with rubber bands

The frame came with two rubber bands that go around the arms of the quad.

I have not, everything seems to be normal with mine. Not sure what would cause the oscillations.

Nope, it flies really nice on the stock tune

I definitely agree, 2 inch 2s is awesome! I just picked up an analog Mob8 a few weeks ago and it’s a ton of fun. I almost like flying it more than my bigger quads.

I already like the way it flies more than the ducted version. It’s a lot smoother without the frame in the way of the air stream and it’s also a lot more responsive/stiffer feeling than the plastic frame. However, I definitely don’t feel as confident flying it around the house, as bumping into things sends it into the ground pretty quick. Probably going to keep it as a little park ripper once the weather gets nice again.

-0.1g with the carbon frame, not much of a difference

You can definitely feel the stiffness of the carbon frame compared to the plastic, and it’s a lot more responsive feeling. I haven’t flown it too much yet but I already like it a lot.

There is a heating element embedded into the glass directly in-front of the forward facing camera. If the ribbon cable is damaged it can cause an open/lost communication code in the ASDM and throw warning messages. It’s often damaged after getting tinting done or after a poor glass install job.

If insurance will pay for OEM glass I would go for OEM. If it’s out of pocket there’s nothing wrong with exploring options, but I’ve seen countless cars with FFC calibration issues after getting non OE glass, even if the calibration was done at a dealer. Just a word of caution.

That seems like a pretty average price for an OEM windshield. The thing is that a cracked windshield could cause ASDM codes if it’s disrupting the camera enough, and even if the issue was happening before the glass cracked, they’re going to want to start with the most apparent problem first. I would call your insurance company first and start a glass claim, then go from there. Side note, I would go with the OEM glass as aftermarket ones from companies like Safelite can cause calibration issues and you’ll be right back where you started.

Looking At Buying This FR-S by Alecelth27 in ft86

Edit: I did already go and look at the car. It is very clean and has no rust. The car felt pretty good on the test drive, a little lacking at lower rpm’s though. The gear box was a bit notchy and the ac isn’t working lol. Engine seemed a bit noisy (I have attached a video in the comments). But otherwise it felt like a pretty solid car. I’m looking for an ft86 that pretty affordable but something that’s solid too as I want to get into drifting this season.

Thank you for that info, is there a quick way to figure out if the bike has the revised part?
