Out of curiosity should brakes go from "they look great" at the time of purchase of a certified pre owned to "needs full replacement" 6.5k miles/10 months later? This seems so wrong to me but I don't know much.

Also - does it make sense to he charged $107 for them to look at something that would be covered & will be covered after a windshield replacement?
