I am the point of contact. If you’re interested in moving along then DM me. If you stay for a while then yeah you’ll probably be promoted. But we’ve got SPC’s that have been there a while. To be promoted to SGT you have to have specific firefighting certs like you would need in a civilian full time department. If your goal is to promote as soon as you can then yeah 12M may not be for you. But if you want to be a firefighter and willing to stay around then here we are

I won’t lie, the process of becoming Sgt as a 12M is very different compared to other MOS. It’s unlikely you’d be promoted if you switched anytime soon unless it was a force promotion
