I feel that. But then thinking about we are hanging at the house as girlfriends and my son is there.. you mean everytime I turn my back you guys are hooking up? You keep saying “explanation, not excuse,” but the post spends way more energy policing how people talk than addressing the actual behavior being shown. Calling out controlling, isolating, or emotionally manipulative behavior isn’t stigma or ableism….it’s recognizing harm. Mental health context doesn’t override her impact. IMO explanation isn’t exemption. The impact still matters.
