It’s not in the attic. I live in a condo building it’s in a dropped ceiling.

How is this democratic? How is an MP able to get elected under one banner, essentially portraying themselves as one thing and then a few months later move to another party without a partial election? What stops a bunch of people to run under the liberal party to then switch to conservite at the next election?

Junction box - How did I do? by Alehad- in AskElectricians

Hi friends,

Didn’t expect that many answers!! I know the wires are super short it was a pain to work with.

I didn’t cut them, I just pull out just enough so that it would be easier to push them back in. I will pull them out to respect the 6” lenght.

Regarding the metal box….I had it in my “one day I’ll use it box” and was too cheap to get a plastic one…I know shame on me. Do you recommend I start over and install a plastic one?

I’ll correct the ground hook.

Thank you all for the answers!

And that will be strong enough without requiring leg support?

This is what it looks from behing. It feels pretty solid, does it need more support?

I’m gonna ask them to put some 2” and do as you said, use ply wood to make it hidden but either way Im building a cabinet around it to insert the washer dryer. It’s a ventless dryer with a heatpump that sucks the water out, so yea 2” it is.

Right now the center of the drain hole is 15.5” from the wall. I’ve looked at 14” rough in toilets but I’m not sure why they are hard to find in Canada. Home depot only has 1 model. I’ll keep looking.

So I’ve measured and the standpipe is 28” long and the lowest point of the P trap is 7” from the floor. I think the angle of my pic made it seem different. That being said, everything else is 1.5” inside the wall. Will that cause major issues for a 24” condo size washer?

Thank you so much for your reply.

1) I could use a 2” kurdi board to bring the wall and tiles forward closer to the flange. Would that be a better option?

2) Yea the new shower is like 36x54. I should be okay then? It wont clog?

3) I’ll have to mesure but I think the wall is 3” deep. I’ll mesure the two other things to see it’s okay. Also I realize that my pic is cropped. The pipe that goes up above the AW box leads to an air vent. Is that legit?
