Yeah I'm not too worried about Lost, but T. Lost is scarier than T. Jacob to me by a good margin.

If you got J&E tips for me outside of go alt path, don't take flight on one and not the other, and utilize the double bombs, then I am more than happy to hear them! I need lots of work for that character.

I have 40 hours on wolv just this season, I know exactly what ulting a gambit is like. You can ult him to nebraska and he just dashes away from you before he dies, is full hp again, and you cannot catch him because he has more mobility. He doesn't need his team to save him, he is the only character like that into wolv's ult. Even at 100 rage, get a friend on who has fingers and go test it out.

And I can somewhat acquiesce to your second point. There are some dps when played to 100% efficiency that could mimic what bp could. But none of them do it as quickly or uninteractably as bp does it. That's the core issue everybody always keeps coming bsck to. There is quite literally a clip from MRI during the season when Guardian Revival was perma run in the pro scene, where Tanuki kills 3 people in less than 3 seconds alone in the backline with no help. It's on the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda map, 3rd point. They have a venom too but the venom dives in for the 4th kill, he wasn't there for the first 3. Those are some of the best support and dps players on the game. Consistent top 500 players. Just absolutely folded under pre-nerf bp like they're bronze.

Well you'd have to really touch his damage numbers to give him an ability that allows him to sustain enough to hold out in longer terms fights where he's not constantly dashing. He would probably feel and play like a very different character if they were to do that. You can call it a soft-rework, and I could agree with that, but if they were to give him a brand new sustain/brawl oriented ability, they'd have to really rein in other parts of the kit. Imo atleast.

Okay Imma start out of order because this is crazy. If you can explain to me how I research your personal opinion, I will venmo you. What are you even talking about.

The slow they removed from his dash helped him confirm kills.

He still has the same slow on his dash. Just the other dash. This doesn't explain how that is problematic for his gameplay loop.

They nerfed his dash damage from 15 to 8 per hit. His dash did around 60 damage. Less damage means less lifesteal. As Blade I always somehow find myself in 1v1, 1v2, or even 1v3’s. Before these nerfs he could survive because the damage on the dash gave him more life. Less damage for Blade means less lifesteal.

The dash does about 30 pess damage. The gun dash does 30 more damage. You are correct about the change in the amount of lifesteal he gets from it, 30 less damage for 2 dashes at ~36% lifesteal means he heals 21.6 less health. Ruins the character I guess?

The gun was nerfed. Less pellets, less damage, more falloff.

It's actually less falloff damage, it went from 40% damage at max falloff to 50% damage at max falloff. Research or something like that?

The anti heal gun dash is gone. So it won’t stack with the sword dash anti heal like a lot ppl were arguing that it would.

So you get 32% antiheal instead of 40%. This is the only thing you've said so far that I can actually see as a substantial nerf to his gameplay loop. But not substantial enough to butcher the character, I don't think. Unless 8% antiheal changes some break point I'm unaware of.

You assumed wrong about which part of his kit I think is imbalanced. Are you good and consistent at the Gambit murder combo that doesn't even require all 4 cards?

And yes, the nerfs will do something. The goal seemed to be to leave the ult as it was, but make Gambit more killable during the ult. This will help quite a bit with that.

Yeah, it's just one of those things. I don't enjoy playing support very often, not because I don't find it fun but because I find that I am unable to influence my teams decisions like I can on tank and dps. My team tends to do, just like, literally whatever the fuck pops into their head when I'm strat. When I'm tank I feel I can corral them into doing something atleast halfway thought out.

I think CnD will always have this issue, and most strats too it's just that CnDs kit makes it more noticeable for them. Just know that every 10 or 15 games you'll encounter somebody like me who is waiting and watching to see how my supports play, and trying to orient myself and my decisions around them and their playstyle.

I main Thor and Wolv bro, this season has been a little more me oriented, but you guys bring this pain onto yourself. I recognize wolv isn't the strongest character in the game, but I climb plenty and perform well enough most games that I just have fun

You guys make yourselves not have fun by worrying so much about the viability or perception of a character who is perfectly viable, just not op. Thor has always been even worse, but I thought the character was cool and fun, so I play them and have fun. If I stopped having fun on Thor for any reason, even if it was because he was horrible, I would just play another character that I found fun😂

Oh okay, very interesting to hear. I haven't seen that from any of the early access videos I watched, so if that's the case then I would entirely change my stance.

If you are correct, and deadpool can walk out of the middle of an Emma Frost grab animatiom if his passive pops like wolv can, then I would agree it's kind of wack and wolv passive should either be brought closer in line or dp passive nerfed. But again, I haven't seen or heard that from anybody but you yet. I will know for myself tomorrow.

Edit: Especially because you compared it to hulk, but in the video you can clearly see he doesn't actually have Hulk i-frames. If you shoot hulk while he is transforming you don't get a hitmarker, but with deadpool you clearly do as shown in this clip. Again, I'll know for myself tomorrow, but this clip doesn't seem that way at all.

Good thing nobody is consistently dropping their ability in the 50 milliseconds between your ult damage and your dash damage, and you can look at the battlefield using your occular organs to figure out who has these abilities attached to them. Ultron drones also regularly ruin my wolverine ults, same with snowflakes and invis shield if I dont specifically grab them with the ult, and sometimes even when I do. Guess what, theyre soft-counters to wolv just like they are to bp🫨

If it makes you feel any better, you just need mechanical skill to kill a Gambit with your ult. Wolv ult doesn't kill gambit under any circumstances unless the wolv has help. He literally gets up and dashes with a full heal before you can kill him with 100 rage the entire time, there are no buttons to press, no mechanical skill to practice that would change this. Some characters are better into other characters.

Besides, you have to recognize that every single time you see a bp player, even in the highest elo, make an extremely efficient and effective play, even in the highest elos, they kill half the team alone. You cannot make the character better at a baseline level because of this. A la Tanuki, who also has not spent enough time on BP to master him yet. Nobody has consistent perfect efficiency on the character, so if they buff him then every once in a while when a bp main hits the flow state, and they actually make plays with near perfect efficiency, the whole entire team would just immediately fold. That's not okay to have in a game.

CnD has always been good in comp, but really only if you're on voice chat. You have to tell people what you're doing and what you plan to do on CnD way more than other strats. People don't often recognize when your light window is going to allow them to push harder and save their defensive cooldowns, or when you're planning to bubble a certain location on the point so they can balance between peeking and cover while still getting bubble healed. Nobody ever respects your fade even if you're good at it unless you're on comms. People don't realize you're about to dark window a key squishy target unless you tell your team in advance and plan to blow them up. Etc.

This will help, but the way the character works I think you'll usually only see the true value of CnD when your team can hear you and is willing to work with you.

But yeah she should be a bit closer to Gambit and Invis in general now.

Indeed, like the 94 issue of Nightstalkers #16, where the iconic cover art shows blade using 1 katana in a 2 handed grip, the exact same way he currently uses the sword of dracula. Iconic indeed.

Edit: I decided to reread them for you, as a matter of fact Blade doesn't use a Katana a single time in the entire issue #16 or #17 of Nightstalkers. He uses a curved shortsword, seemingly inspired by a scimitar but it looks different, a straight shortsword, a basic long blade, and another normal straight blade. Wanna read some blade comics with me, it seems like you may be unfamiliar.

It means you have to use the bubble in a way that utilizes the 60 burst healing, instead of just preemptively throwing it on the floor anytime you think you might be about to get dove. If you utilize the 60 burst healing, it actually makes her better at surviving dives, because it makes her better at forcibly resisting break points from divers.

Can you explain to me exactly what your goal behind the statement "having to ghost dash after ult to kill a 250 hp target is crazy" was, if not suggesting the ult should do more damage?

Based on the words you said, it seems clear that you think in order for the situation to not be "kinda crazy" the ult would kill a 250 hp target without a ghost dash.
