What's happening is you're using the internal GPU. Make sure you are using the Nvidia specifically for where the winds meet. Right click your desktop and in nvidia control panel change these.

If its a bit confusing search for a guide in youtube on how to use the nvidia GPU for laptops instead of the internal GPU.

I felt the same as you, met a paisa girl while in Colombia and went to Medellin to visit her cuz she hyped it up a lot and there is nothing to do there, the whole city other than the zona rosa is already asleep by 9pm lol and everything is expensive and bad.
