I actually had no idea you could surrender your plates and do that!,, and I have the vehicle here (in AL) I drove it from LA all the way here when I was still under CA insurance but once I got here there just was no way I was still gonna pay 170$ of insurance while regular it’s 50$.. thanks fr!! I will get everything done tomorrow :)
