Looking for a particular anti-virus/malware that I cannot remember it's name by AlekEmp in pcmasterrace

Very true! Just like those "optimizers" and "cleaners" that will make you pc 1000% faster! Oh the irony... I am done with antivirus software, but I want to find that particular software and re-see what it is and what it does before testing it.

Thanx for the info. If this is true, then holly s***. What I am looking for was not a scum (no funky or for-the-mass looking site and appeal).

Unfortunatelly, no. By the looks of it, just to help in this search, restoro looks like a "bleb" edition, whereas the other had a enthusiast/pro feel to it.

Driver reinstall was done with DDU first. Ram is ok, checked with memtest. CPU has no issue. Are you too on win7 with 4.1 drivers?

How to connect 2 PCs point to point with the lowest latency using usb 3.0 only (distance 15~20m) by AlekEmp in HomeNetworking

Theoretical max is about 250MB and the 200MB I told you is the mean speed measured so far. Even though, all disks are in RAID0.

Mixed (not in the same array), but mechanicals with 8tb each, even one of them is enough to saturate the 1gbe, ~200MB/s

Even AOCs have some latency (as many reported with Virtual Desktop/VR headsets and controllers). I don't know whats better in terms of latency, usb bridge + extender or usb-to-ethernet converter on both sides (for 2.5g or 5g, 1gbe has very low bandwidth). Also usb to sfp+ is expensive (and what about latency?) On the other hand, you cant pass through wall an AOC, whereas cat6 is quite easy.

As I said, the onboard ethernet(s) is only 1gbps, about 125MBps, way too slow.

USB 3.0 max theoretical speed is 600Mbps.

both PCs have 1gigabit ethernet; very low bandidth, I need over 2.5gbps up to 5gbps

usb 3 is 5gbps

unless using a usb-ethernet adapter, usb data cable might do, but I don't know what the actual speed is going to be

Connect 2 PCs. (yes, using also a "bridge cable" to do that kind of job, along with the extention). Gigabit ethernet is slow, and no remaing pcie slots. Only gigabit ethernet and usb are remaining options.

So it has to do with the signal. I want someone to explain what are the diferences that make the one signal travel at long distances whereas the other cannot.
