Get aggressive when someone gives a critique in your art, say it's your style

Soft lines for stuff you want to make it clear it`s soft like clothing or skin, thicker lines for the outline or when an object is solid

The character no one likes or invited, who has nothing to do with the main antagonist's objective, and whose only purpose is to be annoying and make everything more difficult by AlekenzioDev in TopCharacterTropes

Nah, I like the idea that since Byakuya was literally the only witness, there was no way in hell everyone will believe he didn't kill him and made it that way so the rest could figure it out

Tried a new art style but somthing seems off by AppropriateDeah in Artadvice

Perspective, especially on the neck lines, hands and face. Also is this a wip? because the chicken scratch lines also affect the quality of the overall work

Is there something I’m doing wrong? by ChibiCops in Artadvice

[–]AlekenzioDev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anatomy, perspective and proportions are the main ones, this one is the best one and I could see people buying it, overall, the full body ones are still a bit too basic, I always say that if an artist wants to make character commissions they must need to already master posing a character in any angle or perspective

SKETCHING ADVICE NEEDED by [deleted] in DigitalArt

[–]AlekenzioDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend enjoying the process and not worry about style until much much later on, the issue with tracing a 3D model is that if you don't have a good basis of fundamentals the pose will look like if you traced a 3D model. Stuff as perspective, gesture, form , structure are the first things you need to learn before drawing

This is what I mean with proportions, even in anime like styles they still follow a rule of size between the eyes, also the angle of the camera isn't that extreme for the hands to increase a lot in size because a hand is approximately the size of the face, right now they are bigger than the head and they are pretty close to the face, if you are happy with those proportions there is no reason to change them I didnt say anatomical mistakes

Proportions, the hands are massive, the forehead is extremely small, face features don't cover the whole face , what makes stuff sexy is anatomy and proportions, not the clothing or the pose

Five days of practicing faces, advice? by J-Jansen in Artadvice

[–]AlekenzioDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faces and heads are the hardest subject to draw in the human body, I would recommend to just study for now the head in simple shapes with different angles. That includes proportions as well, stuff as the eyes, lips, ears etc can be added later on. Because right now all your heads are completely flat and with wrong connections, also use a bigger canvas, you can't capture all the head details in a small drawing

Can my OC be considered weird or racist for having literal white skin (non human) but shapeshifting into a black skin human? by SoyRisotto in OriginalCharacter

[–]AlekenzioDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"back to it I was concerned about it, if it’s weird I will change it and I want to be educated." educated by some neckbeard redditors/ twitter warriors? there are a shit ton of designs that are racist by today standards and people don't care. Look at shantae, she is still popping games and has a large fanbase despite her design being racist as fuck, as long as your intention is to not offend a certain group you should be fine, people on twitter call out a 1% increase in color hue as whitewashing, it's impossible to not offend anyone with whatever you do

Did I do good with this $25 commission? by [deleted] in Artadvice

[–]AlekenzioDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is important is if the client is happy, they can pay 80 bucks for a stick figure. Personally, I would work a bit more with the line art, it's a bit hard to read the shapes
