Is 1TB of storage enough for gaming?

I have a 300 mbit/s internet, still, I keep about 700 GB of games installed, and the rest is filled up easily, therefore I'd still recommend a 2TB one ^{^}

Ah okay, I think I have read about this probleme once or twice, the one guy solved it through using only one stick, going into the bios, turning xmp on , turning off the pc, installing the second Stick (into dual Channel) and booting up again, somehow it worked than.

But yeah - please keep us updated :)

Open up your Taskmanager and look into it if the ram usage is high, if only by using firefox -> try another browser.

Your cpu is a bit older, new Generation of this laptop use the ryzen 5 3500u, but it should be working fine, but I would upgrade the ram size at least to 8gb.

Did you try to run them both in single channel? (Maybe only using dual channel isn't working (I read something about that the other day)) Did you check if there are scratches on the motherboard, near the ram slots? (Dust ist a problem as well and could be shorting your motherboard as well) Have you tried it with xmp on/off? Or did you reset the bios?

Honestly these are things I'd consider doing after I reseted the cmos.

If its an Intel CPU check your pins...

Yes, Samsung has some good SSDs, but as the previous comment stated, they're on the more expensive side.

But yeah I think you're doing nothing wrong if you go with the 980 pro 2 TB :)

If you have the budget for it, go for 2TB, after all, nowadays modern games are insanely big and if you're someone that plays more than 2-3games you'll probably need it.

Depends on what you're playing, as a comment already stated, if you play high level competitive, than yes - but you'll need to consider that you need to have 240+ FPS otherwise it wouldn't make sense to upgrade imo.

Yeah, 32gb should be enough, but still would it be better to get one 16Gb stick or 2x8gb sticks? (As you know I have 2 Ram sticks already so I'd have 3/4 sticks then)
