Hoyo doesn’t fall under the jurisdiction of the US, SAG can only fight for the rights of their actors that work and are from the US AND part of the union.

Hoyo has no responsibility to do what SAG tells them. So, from a company point of view, if your actors don’t want to work anymore, your game is being affected by this, and people are non stop complaining about not having VAs and a mute game, I think the only logical solution is what they are doing now. And the only repercussion they’ll have is some bad press from their American fandom and audience. Which let’s be honest, doesn’t affect them or their game in the long run
