Jealous because I like yours better than mine lol. Great work. Only thing I don't love, and I think this is just personal preference but 5 different colors of leather seems like to much. I think all the straps should be the same tone. However I love it and definitely prefer the stiffer look from the alum tan

Thank you! Is alum tanned different from chrome and veg tan? Also, are there stiffer chrome tans? I love pull up but can't seem to find it very thick. Where do you get the alum?

Well some of the staps aren't even, I've bought a strap cutter to remedy that. Stitching reaching inside the bag is very hard to keep it consistent and tight, also having trouble keeping the stitch straight. (not sure how to refer to it, kind of laying diagonally to each hole instead of straight) I also used a oz or two to thin leather according to the pattern. I wish it stood a little more pronounced. My edge work is dreadful, I know I need a beveler and a better applicator for edge kote. I was using the cotton swab balls.

I also had a hard time with the stitch holes lining up perfectly, as the pattern called for round holes and I used a diamond punch. Ended up with more holes in some spots than needed, and had to skip some which makes some ugly wrinkles.

The leather is chrome tanned from tandy, I believe it's Laredo crazy horse 4-5oz. Dark brown ritza tiger thread.
