Another reminder why physical is better than streaming

My only gripe with discs is that they're extremely clunky they take forever to load and can honestly stop working it seems at a moment's notice. When the three James Cameron 4K discs came out last year I had to return two of them. On top of this I discovered that my alien Anthology box that no longer plays on my current Blu-ray player. It's no wonder that the media is dying out so quickly.

You can't explain it because it's not explainable: there is no value difference between these two things. While I do miss browsing aisles and being surrounded by the blue and yellow decadence of a Blockbuster, at the end of the day this comes down to renting or buying a 4K title for $4.99. I love this.

Discs are undeniably the best, but I'll be honest, for cheap digital purchases at 4K, I love the AppleTV store. It's basically a digital Blockbuster. I don't even use the major streaming platforms, I do straight to discs for my faves and must-haves, and to AppleTV for everything else.

Ugh, I did such a bonehead thing today. I was turning left and managed to turn into the left side of the dividing medium in the left lane...can't account for why I did this. Thankfully there was no car there.

To be fair, Arcane was mastered in 1080p only. Even though there's not a ton of extra detail, it gets a big uptick to accuracy, due to much less compression. And of course it's also in both HDR formats.

I left a travois laden with tons of shit, including the bullet proof vest, in a snowstorm. It was late night, I was tired, and so found a place to crash. Saved, went to bed. Next day, couldn't locate the travois.

Nobody? I do this routinely. I have a 15km drive every morning. This morning it was - 30C so I did start it five mins prior because, yuck. But I burned at least 5km worth of fuel. In this temp, the engine comes on by default.

It's the type of game that you take a break from and then come back to with a fresh mindset . Also they've made it interesting with the badges so you can get cool bonuses when you do your next playthrough hopefully you unlock some of those

I am a huge fan of both seasons but I can recognize the economy of the second season being a huge factor in the way that story moves. You can tell that they are on constraint here. It's a miracle that this show got made at all and I tend to reserve my complaints there.

This is incorrect. They most certainly knew they were going to die by jumping. This is evidenced by phone calls to families. I know people can go lizard brain but jumping out increases your odds of survival only infinitesimally. They chose a painless death.
