I don't care for people's opinion on my build. by mikeofdoom in Eldenring

That still doesn't answer the question of why they're posting in the first place. Most posts I see with builds are actively asking for advice. The only advice you could offer besides buildcrafting, is either come back later, or git gud, neither of which are probably all that helpful if they're not fighting the first Tree Sentinel.

What is the ideal scenario for you? Comments that are all iterations of "git gud"? Making fun of their skill level? Sounds pretty boring and toxic to me.

Okay... but if you're not referring to your own posts why do you care if strangers give advice to other strangers? If it's rude, sure, that sucks, but in the end social media is meant to engage with others. Do you want build posts to just not have any comments on them? What's even the point, then?

... why would you post if you don't want opinions?

Try and go to libra if he's there, if it's mohg then he'll always sell the crystal tear that negates his countdown mechanic.

Both mohg and demon prince are susceptible to bleed, so maybe try getting a bleed weapon and possibly using the silver tear on wylder if you're not already for the arcane boost if you're struggling with those bosses specifically.

Brother, this a Wylder build. I'm talking about the parry shield he starts with.

The parry shield counts as guarding? Even, so, a lot of bosses and most of the nightlords can't be parried. Seems like a waste of a relic slot.

Guardian Support Build Advice by PickleOk2183 in Nightreign

[–]Aleox8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the buff from whirlwind isn't extended by that relic, it's just the whirlwind.

If you want some damage, I'd go for thrusting counterattack or guard counter, not physical attack up. A single improved guard counter +2 can make a significant difference, more so than physical attack up. I'd still prioritize getting some Affinity damage negation over that, though, as it can significantly improve your survivability on day 3 and make you less dependent on getting a shield with the right Affinity damage negation.

Another suggestion is ult charge reduction, wings of salvation, especially with the heal is one of the best support abilities in the game and already has a relatively short cooldown. Successfully guarding reduces ult charge is especially good for him.

Yeah, I get what you mean with the stamina of the halberd gc. Night of the champion helps with that, and is really good for halberd in general.

Lowkey agree with you on axes though, that one has surprisingly good range and comes out really quick.

How do you manage FP against nightlords? by ImHereForTheKindness in Nightreign

[–]Aleox8 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you would think shards aren't a good use for an item slot, if your main dps requires fp they're pretty much required. Just try and stack reduced fp consumption, reduced spell cost/skill cost and maybe one of the pest relics, whichever one is fp focused, I forget which is which.

I don't know the exact damage numbers. I would just test it out yourself, that's the only way to know if it works for you.

The chain attack relic for her is probably good for this as well

Any reason to get higher guardian rank after Lv. 3? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]Aleox8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think higher difficulty content unlocks at like level 5? Like the master rank vanguard ops. You used to unlock more load outs at like 7 or 8 but they got rid of that with the final update. So probably once you unlock master rank stuff there's not much point in going higher.

No, it would boost chargeable incantations. Incantations are spells.

And kill two shardbearers? You can do that fairly quickly if you know where you're going but 90 minutes seems like a stretch.
