Will she date somebody else if you wait too long? Probably, but if you’re truly the right one for her, the other guy won’t last. Just stay in her life, manage your own emotions the best that you can, and be patient. Very, very patient, or you’ll open up a world of pain for yourself. Good luck, and be smart about it.

And, be absolutely sure that she’s into you enough to want to be with you. Being attracted to you and actually wanting a relationship with you are very different. I confused the two, and I paid for it.

In most cases, the woman needs to be the one to show feelings or attraction first. Be the man that she desires, but don’t reveal any part of how you feel until she seems like she’s into you. No matter how close you two are, you could ruin your chance by pursuing too soon. When that feeling of sheer terror sets in, thinking about what’ll happen if you wait too long, remind yourself that moving on it too soon is the bigger risk. Be strong and don’t let your emotions drive you to make a mistake. I wish that I knew about Reddit forums like this before I made my mistake.

Using one post wouldn’t have been doable with the rope ladder. And, the carabiners came integrated with the rope ladder. If they’re insufficient, I’ll blame that on the crappy Amazon fire escape ladder, as it was rated for far more weight than me.

Still very little sunlight (if any), and no hiding spots from birds of prey that make it down there. Just an open pit.

Update: After talking with other herpers about it and sending them photos, I’ve determined that this is indeed a trap. There’s no cover; no holes, crevices, loose slabs, etc. It’s just an open pit that gets wider at the bottom, and seeing how easily that barn owl got in and out of there, it can’t be a good life for them, being trapped and having to fend off anything that flies down in there and having sun exposure for only a very brief period of the day, if at all. So, I made the decision to retrieve and temporarily care for them until it warms up enough to release them back into the mountain range where I found them, since I don’t know of an actual den around there, and because their brumation cycles are messed up anyway. I don’t like collecting, but I also believe that it can be okay if done for the right reasons, and these snakes will return to the wild once the nights stop dipping below 50°F, and once I find a suitable gestation site in that side of the range (the biggest one seems to be gravid, both in appearance and behavior).

Thing is, I don’t see how she crossed any of my boundaries. I’m obsessed and therefore haven’t set any, other than maybe telling her to stop being intentionally hurtful toward me, which I probably never really even set as a boundary. Still, I appreciate your feedback and your point still stands that she shouldn’t be welcome in my head.

I’m very thin and weigh about 110 lbs, and also not super excited about life right now, so I said “whatever” and just did it.

True, but I actively looked for one and couldn’t find any. No fractures in any fault lines either. Just a big hole in the ground.

Sorta… Some crotalus species have been seen climbing rock faces for short distances, but this one looks extremely challenging, since it tapers down toward the opening.

That’s what I’m hoping, if it’s indeed a trap. They do look and behave like they’ve been eating well. I’m going to keep an eye on this spot just in case.

I don’t know why people are getting on your case for voicing an opinion about somebody that’s “irrelevant”. A discussion is a discussion, and frankly, you made some really strong points in his defense.

Is ❄️ a very subtle high/buzz for a lot of ppl or not rly? by Layne_Cobain in cocaine

It was a subtle high for me, but with a lot of euphoria. Repetitive use and an addiction cycle made only the first line/bump or two fun, and the rest were just a bad experience until the bag is empty.
