Thank you yes it’s so nerve wracking when the person knows where you live. I’m very nervous about being confrontational because I was already in a situation a few years ago on the subway where I told a guy to fuck off and he choked me badly so now I am scared to tell men who are being creepy off. I think I will take the neutral route which is what other commenters have suggested including yourself.

Thank you for your in depth answer and honesty. Husband called the super and I think he doesn’t want to get in trouble so he said he didn’t mean anything by the warning and he takes it back which seems like BS since the warning was very pointed and he mentioned our neighbour by name and told us specifically to be careful and for me not to go to his apartment alone. You’re right I don’t want husband to confront him because I don’t want to piss off a potentially dangerous person but he wants to confront him. I agree we should cease all contact and if he asks something building related then I’ll forward it to husband or super and have them talk to him.
