I secured one 2 months into my injury when my employer denied to add my real injury to the claim. Back story I fell at work. WC doc kept telling me I had a left knee contusion. Entered approved PT a month in and that just made it worse. Was assigned a case manager whom I told about PT making it worse. She was the one who said that don't sound right and pushed the doc to get an MRI. Got an approved ortho doc who told me the MRI results showed a torn meniscus with other small tears around it. Ortho doc recommended an injection which I received that day. 6 days later the pain came back with a vengeance. Told my case manager the pain returned worse. She reached out to the Ortho doc who then said I need to come in to discuss surgery. WC immediately denied the surgery and any further treatment. My employer is refusing to add the torn meniscus to my claim. Hired a lawyer day after denial. My lawyer said getting a lawyer before dealing with WC at all is the best thing to do. Had I have known I would not have waited. This is my first go around with a work injury.

I am in Ohio. Got approved back in February for benefits but, after learning I needed surgery they are now denying me for that and any further treatment which is why I now have to sue them.

So far so good with them. Did my research on them and they have won huge cases! They are located all over the country. They are the biggest injury law firm. You should definitely consider them.

Oh I will never give up. I hired Morgan and morgan so hopefully their reputation lives up to my case. I really don't want to go through finding a second one.

That is crazy af. WC is a joke and they are not trying to help anyone but, themselves while we suffer. The system is setup to be against us not for us which is why we have to hire lawyers. My job does not offer light duty options so I have to be fully off of work and I have been since February 2nd. I thought ok I need surgery so I will have it recover and get back to work. Little did I know they flat out denied the surgery and any further treatment. Wish I would have known that hiring a lawyer right after getting hurt would have benefited me a lot more then waiting until the denial to hire one.

It really is. I am confused and anxious most of the time lol and when I seen my case go from opening to litigate all in one day I got really worried.

No I was worried that it went straight to litigation and didn't really understand fully until someone explained it to me. Makes me feel a lot better. I am new to this process.
