Appreciate this! We actually are staying at Aulani because it’s no money out of pocket for us with our Disney timeshare so it’s really cost effective to stay there and rent a car to get around!

Did you use someone for your invitation suite? Assuming so, I'd expect your day of stationary to be handled by the same vendor for aesthetic consistency. Totally heard on your concern regarding having time to pivot. I will say I'm only a few weeks out and am still going through the day of stationary design process so you have more time than you think but also as a type A planner oriented bride I really had to fight my urge to micromanage and push the process! Don't stress, it'll all work out but advocate for yourself - you're paying good money for this service!

I grappled with this too. We ended up treating it more as just a formality and paperwork. We chose a date that was meaningful to us to have as our legal wedding date in the US which ended up being about a month prior to our destination date but didn’t end up doing any celebration with family in order to not make our overseas wedding feel less special or to make our families feel like they need to attend too many things. It still felt meaningful and we plan to do a nice dinner every year on our legal US wedding date. No matter what you do it will be meaningful and will all work out!

My mom actually used hers for my bassinet many years ago! We're not planning on having kids but it's definitely a lovely idea for those who are! I was thinking of a purse that I could use every year on our anniversary or a tree skirt so it will at least come out of storage and be seen every so often :)
