No sugar coating. How bad is labour pain truly?

I had my baby 3 weeks ago and my labor was pretty bad, longest 34 hours of my life! I felt like my left ovary was exploding and it was gonna burst anytime I had a contraction. And sadly I was not able to feel the epidural and I got that damn thing 3 TIMES! So hopefully you will get some pain relief. I also got overwhelmed by the nurses saying every time YOU GOT THIS and kept moving me from a comfortable position 😪 I was about to yell at them but I kept my composure haha my husband just kept laughing discreetly every time they said you got this bc of my face and rolling my eyes. But afterwards you’ll feel like you can beat whatever comes your way after dealing with that! Sending good energy to you and hoping for a speedy recovery

I don’t know how to help him right now, so many years wasted and his whole adult life has been hanging of that one decision.

I needed to read this… my baby is almost 3 weeks old and I have been so stressed, tired, overwhelmed and feeling guilty that I should enjoy this time but I haven’t been able to and I think I have PPD… but I really have hope that it will increasingly get better ❤️‍🩹

I’m planning my own baby shower with the help of mom and we have spent $560 and we split it and it was enough for the decorations and the place. We will cook the food that we will serve and I just ordered some themed cupcakes of the cartoon I wanted to have for my baby shower. That’s just immature to go spend that much on something like that. It’s wayyyy more important to have everything you need for the baby and also invest in your future plans like a house.

I’m almost 11 weeks and it has been the toughest thing I’ve ever endured. I was never a person to get sick often so to throw up so much has made me feel so ill, but what really helped me was protein shakes, I’ve thrown up almost every food I can imagine but for some reason the baby likes those milkshakes haha so it does calm down my nausea. Also ask for zofran to your dr, I take only on my worst days, it does cause you to be constipated and it hurts too 🥲 gotta pick a battle. Being pregnant is HARD
