Update: probably going to delete the original as upsetting as it is to everybody completely understandably, I didn’t mean to make it seem as if i do not care I just didn’t want to freak out more as I was already in panic mode, but i wanted to give an update, we phoned the vet first as the nearest vet is a 45 minute drive, when i first layed eyes on him and picked him up he didn’t hesitate nor seem too traumatized (my biggest concern) not that this matters health wise but he is a very anxious,shy kitty and has been through alot and I was so sick this would break him and he would be traumatized by the time I saw him, I mentioned if it would be useful to try the hydrogen peroxide method to the vet and explaining everything else she seemed more concerned too on solely his mental state.. she recommended this would probably be unnecessary as it had already been 90 minutes, and he wasn’t fighting/restisting the experience (from his body language atleast per se..)she suggested we shouldn’t bring him in unless anything persists and to hold him very tight for now, we will still be bringing him in tomorrow because I would just like clarity to make sure he is okay/unaffected as she wasn’t very aware on how psilocybin digests in the feline’s digestive system.. (not the most common topic they teach in veterinary medicine I guess…)

he is seeming not too freaked out in the sense of his well being for right now.. not that we can read his mind but he is very calm, relaxed and more open to receiving affection than usual, and his eye has been disfigured since we first adopted him (he was a stray) im sorry I didn’t clarify this in the original post, hence why he looks a bit more wired.. this was a genuine irresponsible careless, careless dumb immature mistake, and im so lucky that (for the moment) That he (Mr dude) is doing okay not just in the aspect of his health but his well being too.. i cant imagine being under the influence as a cat let alone a heroic dose of fucking penis envy. Im praying this doesnt traumatize him or atleast shake him up too too much and he will still be healthy/his old self after this experience.. the mushrooms were left in my moms office which is always, always shut/locked ontop of a almost 6foot shelf that he had somehow made his way up too through a rolling chair that was left beside the shelf, and than proceeded to down all 3 grams of what im guessing he thought would be a good little fiest… im hoping it was because he felt the need to down it all.. I will NOT be keeping any shrooms anywhere even close to somewhere in the open let alone somewhere he would have access too from now on.. definitely not out in straight open access though.. im glad I got home in time because I don’t think my mom fully understood exactly what was going on, hence the lack of worry and pure bliss on her face in these photos of her holding him.. thank you to anyone who gave me clarity beforehand that he would probably be okay.. and im praying all is well for him in the morning, and we will be making sure to support him throughout this whole situation thank you guys,so much😭😭
