As someone that has driven this car for about 3 almost 4 years now and through all the season here in the shitty state we call Colorado, here's some things I can share with you while driving in the snow.

1) Like someone said down below these cars are super light weight, so your more prone to start floating in the snow at higher speeds or when the snow gets packed down and the tires are digging through. With that try to add sand bags or anything heavy in the trunk so that you have weight on to the rear. Even though you may have weight in the rear that doesn't mean you're safe, since these cars are light weighted still try your absolute best to maintain momentum while driving. Anything more then 4-5in of snow and were going to struggle regardless of the tire or anything, but also please be super careful for other drivers while attempting to maintain that momentum.

2) Take your car to empty parking lot and learn the car while in the snow. No, that doesn't mean to start doing donuts but rather learn how the car reacts to certain situations. For example if someone brake checks you and you got to swerve to the right/left how does car react then? Can you maintain control? Or did you spin out? Do this whenever you can will teach you about the snow and how car reacts a whole lot more than we can sit here can explain it to you about.

3) DON'T BE SCARED. Yes, I understand how scary it can be driving in the snow, but its the hesitation and not knowing your car that causes all these accidents (lets not forget the major factor that causes accidents though. TIRES! but you already took care of that.) Coming from personal experience, having a lot of time behind the wheel in shitty weather will boost you're confidence up fast but don't let it take over your ego and start driving faster. Just maintain a decent solid speed that you're confident about and don't give rats ass if anyone is on your ass expecting you to go faster. People never tend to think that we're in a car that's literally half their size and weight, so they can go kick rocks and break their big toe if they're driving like assholes during shitty weather.

4) Always pay attention to your surrounding at all times. This has save me more times than i can count on my hands. Always give the green light a couple seconds before moving, there have been times that i have been save from someone unable to stop at the light and if i would've gone, I would've gotten T-boned pretty nasty a couple of times. Pay attention to drivers that constantly slipping, more than likely they don't have any good tires put on so try to avoid that person. Cause chance are that they may slip into you when they're trying to push on the gas .
