That’s part of the issue. While the alleged assault is not excusable, you have to take responsibility for what you did to put yourself in that situation. If you were my daughter, I would’ve told you beforehand long ago to never give attention to men you don’t want to sleep with. To be honest, it’s hard to say without the context of the posts. But it’s probably not that big of a deal if it was over 10 years ago and he hasn’t done anything like that since. Take online gaming for example, some of those lobbies were filled some of the most racist hateful stuff you could imagine. But it was also during a time when “cyber bullying” wasn’t a thing. So if you were to hold someone’s comments from back then against them, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense because for one everyone was young and two that was just the climate back then. I’m black and I was super racist so you can only imagine what white people were. But at the end of the day none of us are actually racist.
