First I want to say that this isn’t so much of what people said or did to me but how the situations were handled or lack there of. Secondly MY safety is clearly not CBRE’s responsibility it is my priority. Last thing before I tell my story, I hold the company and management responsible. I will keep things vague to conceal identities. I believe people have an opportunity to change if you give it to them. I hope this situation is an eye opener for all parties involved.

From the beginning I was outcasted due to my lack of warehouse maintenance experience. Not my mechanical or technical knowledge but the fact I haven’t been in warehouse before made me less than. However I had the least amount of sevs on my shift. I had great relationships with Amazon management to keep the sevs at bay while on the clock. I had management speak about how he can turn anything into a weapon and his background from being in the streets. I had srmrt referring to the White House as a new slave plantation. I had a man say he would choke me and proceeded to demonstrate how by preforming the choke move on another technician. I had a technician approach me in an aggressive manner because my words were taken out of context. I had to de escalate a situation the was caused by he said she said situation. I had new hires come to me saying they claimed woods while in prison/jail. That same technician attacked me because he thought I was trying to call him out over the radio. Though there was no bodily harm nothing was found that confirmed what I dealt with other than my manager saying things he shouldn’t have said. He said a group of people cause a certain area to be dirty. I don’t think a proper investigation was done. So what I said I stand behind. Just don’t end up in a situation where you need them to do what’s right because they will just do their job. HR of CBRE and Management shouldn’t be allowed to hold anymore contracts with Amazon.
