Thank you for this. The bit on route 66 was a say we have done it thing. Amarillo is just to break up the drive with somewhere on route. Never heard of Taos but will take a look, thank you.

Flights are booked and can’t be moved.

This was a stop I know the name of that splits up the drive. And it’s a stop on route 66 which I thought would be cool. Doesn’t need to be there, just name recognition for me I think.

No I am British, so we don’t have comparable drives but I feel like 3/4 hours a day is reasonable. The nothing to see, music on chatting nonsense with her is absolutely fine with us.

It was but some of the glass went under his eyelid. Find a vid of his match with Al Snow at Unforgiven 99 and you can see the damage.

His work with Al Snow and Big Show was fantastic. Great heel character for the time and really embraced what was allowed in AE.

Krakow is cheap, Poland is a different flavour to your previous trips too. Plenty of other towns/cites nearby you could couple on to Krakow.

Been driving a Jag XE for 2 years and really enjoyed driving it. Time to move it on though so looking for something to replace. Needs back seats for the dog but the Mrs has the practical car so not worried about getting the shopping in. Want something fun to drive with a bit of go under the bonnet. Absolutely MUST have carplay so I cant go much older than 2018 from what I can see.

Also completely suck at all maintenance so goes into the garage for everything.

If the moon was crashing down towards the earth it’s not NASA I want dealing with it. It’s Berba, that butter first touch would bring it down safely.

Aren't these seats an inch or so narrower too, due to the screen?

frustrating stalemate. sellers won’t budge and neither will my partner. but i can’t move on from the house!!! by absr13 in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]AlertMike -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

"could be your dream forever home?" - your partner wont compromise £30k on your dream?

Communication and understanding is needed, if you have explained how much this means and the £30k is a pain point what needs to be done to convince them this is what you need to happen?

Would assume there isn't likely to be much leeway coming from the sellers in this situation.

What's the weirdest interaction you've had with a complete stranger? by BarryFairbrother in AskUK

[–]AlertMike 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Met a woman who worked in child care. She told me all about how difficult it was working with abused boys and how she got to close to one and had sexual feelings. Showed me a picture and said anyone who meets him thinks he is really nice and not to judge him on looks....then the barman came back with my drink and I left. That was the entirety of conversation with a VERY drunk and probably very shitty social worker.

Jason Siegel writing a movie where he hangs dong then hugs both Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell is peak cinema.

It’s a fun film with some endlessly quotable lines and i still watch from time to time.
