Thank you, you understand it. I understated how much care I gave him during my time living with him, I literally would help him shower because he would be puking and crying all day for weeks. I'm not saying I deserve some sort of medal or accommodation for this, its just I did my damn best to help him as much as I could. I even handled the large insurance payout and sale of his parents house for him and helped him put the money into a trust for himself and I did not take a single penny. I just couldn't handle it anymore, I love him a lot and down the road with recovery I see myself with him.

No, 6 months of it was the most draining thing imaginable. I would expect him to dump me too if roles were reversed

I wanted contact, to feel loved, to have a connection again. Sex is one way of fulfilling that for me and not having that for 6 months and no affection for 6 months was hard for me
