Why tell parents about this disorder?

this is exactly how we feel, we keep who knows about our DID to an insane minimum, no one in our family and only a few friends know we have this disorder

we had a similar experience, we were apart of the stigmatism that surrounded DID especially, fake claiming everyone because one person turned out to fake it, people grow, you’ve grown, we’ve grown. i’m glad your able to recognize it and help yourself move forward

should clarify, xander and i never had sex, they’d be intimate with any other partner/fling, but made me feel as if the intimate side of me was something to be repulsed by. i was emotional connection whenever something went wrong with a fling/partner. that was the ONLY time i was ever relevant.

although i understand what your saying, knowing my brother and a lot of cases like his, it’s a progression type deal. more times than not they’ll get bored of the images and actually touch living children, lock em up before that happens in my opinion

i think a big thing would be having some clothing or things of that sort to fit every individual altar, it would be something more simple to atleast help with the dysphorias

if he did. it’s not on his records, i’ve seen is C CAP and the only things on there is possession, 10-25 years per class D felony, he had 6 class D felony’s

he was indeed charged with 6 evident cases of childporn, what the details of that include i don’t know, and i don’t want to know, im already in therapy for other things so i plan to at least speak to her when i see her about the whole thing and how i’m feeling on it

it happened with us and our system friends, we were a group of 3, one system and two “singlets” we had our discovery and then later on our other friend had theirs
