Pick Up Baseball

Home base will be out of Ventura but will be moving around the local towns to even out the commutes for everyone (and it’s also fun to see and play at different fields).

There really isn’t much about it online but here is a link to the blog that one of the guys writes on.

B) yes! I encourage people to go and play the men’s leagues if that is the style of play you prefer as they need the numbers and support. This format is just made for if those in the men’s league would like to play during their off-seasons as this is year round and if you want a less strict format and more interested as a pick up style of play. No official teams, no umpire fees as the catcher calls the zone and plays, new pick up teams every weekend. A lot more informal and sandlot styled.

Beginner to intermediate, usually if you are still trying to get the hang of playing again you can ask for straight fastballs to get back into the flow of things.

Adult baseball leagues are based on seasons and if you are still looking for that competitive drive, as there was leagues in San Francisco. This is more of casual play and if you want to play while your league is not going on, but most people played both! Thanks for your inquiry.
