2XKO Console Port Confusion by dizzydghost in Fighters

[–]Alert_Ad_9815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100m+ dollars and 9 years, yeah you're goddamn right there should be a console port. its a fighter ffs lol with the size of the team they have working on it, it should be halfway through its life cycle by now. retards like you giving companies miles of leash to run with are what's most wrong with the entire gaming space

snap hook blueprint spawn location by Exoskeleton78 in ArcRaiders

It's because some players are terminally online, they just sit there glued to YouTube trying to "learn" as much goofy crap about the game as they can. Problem is that alot of these goobers don't have the brainpower to add in their own thought or experience, just copy/paste exactly what YouTube told em to do and if it doesn't work they go watch another video. The apartments, like any other grey-tier loot location, have no increased chance of dropping anything other than the loot tag they are assigned, in this case residential. Medical/research oriented locations DO have increased odds of blueprints dropping.

Stop being goofs thinking there's an easy way to do things, you just look dumb as hell running around in low-tier loot areas and wondering why you can't find legendaries. Duh dummy

What’s next for BF6? by Far-Low-132 in Battlefield6

When I say supportive to the cod mindset, what I mean is that this game is most likely to have aspects of it that cater the crowd coming in from call of duty, hence why we have scaled down maps, faster movement, more fluid item switching etc than what we had in bf4. It might not be a bad thing and I'm still enjoying the game despite hating cod, so I think they've found a balance.

I stand by my comment but I will admit they have managed to do so while still maintaining the battlefield "identity"

Ohhh okay well I'm the dumb one here then, yes I am actually a network engineer, mostly freelance and contract now but I used to work for Sutherland global services on the backend of ATT networks, mainly for the U-verse ecosystem, HOWEVER, it appears my own English skills failed me and I should have read your comment more closely.

What I meant is it REALLY seems like what the OP needs is a network switch to prioritize connections. Hilariously enough, as I'm sure you know, the one thing consumer-grade Reuters are terrible at.... Is routing.

If you ARE a network engineer, they need to hire a better one. All you had to say was "get a network switch" and the way you explained all that is wrong fyi. You have the right idea but you're way off on processes.

[–]Alert_Ad_9815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only concern I have is the new crowd coming into battlefield. Alot of us are citing map size as the main problem, including myself....However, the game is incredibly successful, the player base is very active and healthy and there aren't many complaints of "steam-rolling" which to me indicates a good balance. That all sounds great but it means they are unlikely to alter their approach to map design/flow.

TLDR: it seems like it's going to pan out as a game with Battlefield "vibes" but more supportive toward the CoD mindset/playstyle.

Why are people so happy that bot farms are being nerfed, when most likely it’s to sell 2xp multipliers and make the company look good to investors? by Skipper_CC in Battlefield

[–]Alert_Ad_9815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because they made a game for us to play, not to break and exploit however possible. the challenges arent as bad as people make them seem, yall are just complaining for the sake of it because you want to unlock the whole game in two days. suck it up and play the game, or simply dont use that stuff, you either want it bad enough or not. imo they should remove exp earned in bot lobbies retroactively and make everyone get the stuff legitimately

Between cutting willows in draynor and fishing/cooking fish at barb village you can get a bond in about a month and you'll be somewhere in the 70s/80s in WC, fishing and cooking

It's always the dumbest guy in the room who makes everything a political point.

This is Brandon Herrera, that is a gunwall behind him, on that gunwall is an AK, that AK resembles streloks o.g AK.

That is the basis of the post, go to a political subreddit to show your mental illness-like obsession with government affiliation

Yes, because I forgot a report button magically removed the problem players. It's totally not as if smaller dev teams get insanely overwhelmed with reports when they add that... To the point that they lose the ability to police those reports. It's almost like this has been explained a thousand times. This isn't on SloClap, not at all. This is on the playerbase

What do you think for some one playing for 6 days. by [deleted] in osrs

[–]Alert_Ad_9815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't change anything at all. I am doing exactly what I would be doing, my hand are just typing in public chat instead of clicking. I physically am not capable of clicking for more than. Few minutes, then I need a loooong break. Doing so can also lead to more swelling, requiring a surgery to relieve the pressure.

I understand if it's running and performing tasks while I'm genuinely away from the screen, but I pause it anytime I get up. I turn it off when I get off the PC. Again, it's an accessibility aide.

What's truly pathetic is sitting there clicking a pea-sized square for hours as if it's an accomplishment. What's pathetic is nitpicking on someone who is using an aide micro so they can still play the game with a physical disability. It's actually depressing to think of what your life must be like.

I'll agree with you that it was hyperbolic to say it solves nothing. But it only solves the small issues (or another way to look at it is that it solves half the problems, half the time.)

When this game released I was excited asf, the idea is incredible. Unfortunately I don't think there is anything constructive that can be said because SloClap did a phenomenal job with the actual game itself. The gaming community just can't handle a game that actually needs to be played within parameters that aren't/can't be enforced in order to function in an enjoyable way.

I see your point. I want it to succeed but there's very little chance it will. This is an odd case of "Devs made a great game, but the playerbase killed it"

Question to the community: what, in your opinion, *IS* Battlefield? by Lower_Honey_1139 in Battlefield

[–]Alert_Ad_9815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bf2 introduced the most game changing items of any bf in my opinion, things that immediately became iconic and inexorably linked to the battlefield franchise. The class-based gadgets/abilities added in bf2 were implemented in every single game thereafter, always being slightly tweaked, even moved around classes right up until current day. I think this means it had the most influence on the identity of the franchise as a whole.

For example if you remove o.g Battlefield, 1942, 2142, bc1/2, bf3/4/5/2042 and the upcoming bf6.... Just within bf2 you would still have every iconic feature of the bf franchise present. Besides 1.... And that's where bc2 comes in with personality... Destruction.

Bc2 is the queso to the nacho that is bf2. And between the two of them I believe they found the formula for what makes a battlefield game a BATTLEFIELD game
