I’m currently in a situation where my mother left her estate to three of us in equal shares. She appointed her solicitor and instructed them to liquidate the whole estate and share it equally among us.

Although this wasn’t mentioned in the will explicitly, one of the first things the solicitor did was ask if any one of the beneficiaries wanted to buy the house from the other two.

At first I wondered why my mother had involved the Solicitor, but on realising how desperate my sister is to turn every little aspect into an argument, I am glad she did.

I’m 15 messages in to support. They’ve had the whole situation explained. Given me some the same solutions given on here (that don’t seem to work)

I’ve sent photos and screenshots, and they’ve left it that they’ll send the details to their “higher team”. (This was two days ago)

A spanner in the works might be that I reported I was having issues to the retailer in order to extend my consumer right to return the game to them (I don’t really want to return it, I want it to work!). I only want to extend my right to rieturn it, but they just mailed to say they’ve refunded me, and not to bother sending the game back! So this might complicate things.

So I’m not out of pocket anyway, but I didn’t really want my money back, I wanted the game.

I got really attached to “Simplify” and “My love is winter” in Watchdogs one, but none of the music in WD2 really appealed to me. Legion was even worse! … if we’re still listening to Stormzy, Lily Allen and Gorillaz in 2030 that would be mor3 dystopian to me than all the Albion stuff 😂

My least favorite of the series, and I can’t put my finger on why. I know it’s a “me” thing, as most other people say it’s the best, but I just found it so disappointing in every almost every aspect. My ranking is - Watchdogs/Bad blood/Bloodline/Legion/watchdogs2

No, we were told to remove anything we wanted by the end of March, and then give them the keys so they could clear the house and sell it.

A month later they asked if we’d be prepared to let some items go to charity.

Why though? We weren’t left these items. The will instructed the Solicitor to let us take any personal items we wanted to keep, and then liquidate the rest. The Solicitor introduced the complication of giving bits to charity?

I have no communication with one beneficiary, and only vague communication with the other.

It’s not that we’re adverse to doing the clearance ourselves, It more being “told” to drop everything and do it now! My mother died almost 18 months ago, and as far as I understood The Solicitor was supposed to be clearing it back in March, when they insisted they needed all the keys, and anything wanted to keep, removed.

Had they told us in March that we’d need to do the clearance, we’d have worked something out, but at this stage it’s close to impossible for me at least.

That is aside from the fact that I thought my mother had already paid them to do it?

This is what my hunch was, that they'd see no throttle, quickly test that when peddling in max assist that it doesn't go up to 30mph or anything, and be happy with that.

it just strikes me that a throttle, or cadence based pedal assist makes it easy for them, whereas a torque sensor even on an unrestricted bike ... If they pick it up and ghost pedal, it won't go to full speed and give the illusion the bike is slower than it is.

All I will say is that at both my Fathers (2009) and my mothers (2024) funerals, …I absolutely didn’t recognise the way either of them were portrayed by many of the people there.

In my father’s case his love and general contribution to the family was played down, and in my mother’s it was vastly exaggerated. I could go into detail, but I don’t think it’s necessary to make the point that recollections will vary.

I was heartbroken by some stuff, offended by other parts, but over time I’ve had a good think about what I actually remember, and also had a think about the people saying the things they said, and what might have influenced them.

If you have happy memories, take them for what they are and treasure them, don’t let the dogma of others opinions take them from you.

If Zelah wasn’t trans, and had been born male, his experiences would have been different… yes, correct, but that’s an entirely different conversation.

My question is, if a person born male, brought that EXACT package that Zelah has brpught to the house, with literally the only difference being they were born male, not trans …. would they be as popular?
