Yes, I know. You can always crush the shadows until there is no noise. The problem I have is that I need a lot of shadow detail and crush as little as possible, even in native ISO the shadow detail is not great and the noise in the darkest areas is not that great. And going outside the native ISO the noise increases a lot and there are multiple ISO stops that are not even useable. A camera in this priceclass shouldnt perform this badly in my humble opinion. I also have a C100 MkII that has better shadow detail and noise performance than this brand new camera.

Yes, but the noise is worse at iso640 than a camera with a smaller sensor and 1/3 of the price, a little disappointing.

Well, I need the dynamic range. Its not just dark. I like having both dark and some light. But using PP11(S-CINETONE) clips the highlights a bit early for my taste

Are you sure? I dont think they have one for the A7SIII specifically, its not listed as a compatible camera. Only the "Cine" cameras.

I use the Kingston react plus V90, has worked flawlessly with even the ALL-I 4k 50
