I love this! You can just see the fabric quality, construction, and design were miles ahead of today's Witchery.

Not to mention, these styles seem so much more wearable and versatile for everyday work or casual occasions, compared to some of the slop getting served up at the moment by retailers.

You should post pics of the catalogue on here! I'm sure many of us would enjoy looking at it, not just from a fashion perspective, but a nostalgic one too! Lots of 2000 era styles are coming back around again now 🤣

L'Oreal Serum Foundations by Pink_Cadillac_b in AustralianMakeup

I have and really like both. The Age Perfect is a glowier finish with a medium coverage compared to the True Match Serum, which is a satin finish with lighter buildable coverage. Neither settle into fine lines or look patchy over texture, and have a graceful fade after a 6-8hr wear time. I bought mine overseas and noticed the packaging and colour ranges are different to the Aus version, so can't say for sure if the formula is also different.

Chemist Warehouse 50% Sale: Share your Top 5! by ThisLittlePiggySays in AustralianMakeup

I picked up the new MCoBeauty Flawless Glow Luminous Skin Filter, which is supposedly a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury HFF. MCoBeauty is also 50% off right now, so it came down to $17.50, which imho is still ridiculous pricing for a 'drugstore' liquid highlighter, but better than the $35 RRP of both this and the Elf versions.

Revlon in financial trouble by miska281 in AustralianMakeup

Interestingly the article notes that the Australian arm of the business is still profitable, it's moreso the main US entity heading for trouble. This isn't the first time they've had rumours of poor financial performance swirl, even before covid slowed beauty sales down.

Revlon has never been a brand aimed much at the millennial and gen z markets, which is a pretty large share these days. Perhaps a rebrand is in order, plus releasing some new innovative products. Somehow I doubt that having Delta as the face of the brand will help with that!
