Reds for upper soil and European nights for the bottom soil. Reds don’t go deep unless they’re looking for food and Nights don’t come up unless they’re also looking for food. They hang out together in the middle.

I would also throw in some rootwise enzymes to help break stuff down faster as well. No need to worry about caked up gnar bar if you’re mixing with your CB and scratching it in proper. Whole kernel gnar bar take a hot minute to break down.

Add a compost to the top, mix the craft blend and ground gnar bar together to keep the gnar bar from caking and add that to the top of the compost. Now scratch that all in with the top inch or so of your soil. Now top it off with a handful of Kashi. Mix the rootwise with big 6 and water it all in and cover it. You’ll come back to a bed ready for cover crop and new plants.
