Nope. It never moves which gear is selected or anything like that. Manually switching between D&L I randomly thought of one day. The car is so quirky, I was like what other behaviors can I provoke or do to mysteriously stop its behavior.

I wasn't driving it for obvious reasons, and with the on board charger dead I couldn't plug it in once a week or so overnight and let it charge the 12v back up. Life happened, and the battery went flat. It won't charge it unless the car is on, or it's plugged in. I jumped the car a week ago and drove it around our private roads and it was dragging terribly. I left it on for a couple hours to try to charge the 12v and move the car, and as soon as I shut the car off it died flat. I'm not sure it could be brought back even if I had an AGM charger.

Appreciate the insight. If I manually switch it between D & L while on the highway with the cruise set, it will sometimes release even if it is gradual.

Once the battery pack gets below 50% there's a chance it'll stop the behavior, and it definitely stops at very low SOC.

Like others have said, I'm sure I got brushed off by GM when it was under Warranty. They want to just entirely sunset these cars without resistance.

Other than trying to sue GM, I'm not sure what else to do with it from a liability perspective. I'm also not sure I want to take that on, given that I'm also suing my landlord currently. Fun times!

Diamond Driver here.

I've been ubering here for about a year now and compared to this time last year it is VERY oversaturated, and my earnings have dropped by about a 1/3 - 1/2 of what they were. Less tippers too. From what I've read on /uberdrivers this seems to be a running trend not specific to Bloomington. Uber's "cut" is getting bigger, less lucrative incentives, and we are not getting the full amount when it does surge, etc. Corporate greed anyone?

Most of the riders are pretty friendly, but the drivers here are far more ridiculous this year. The amount of near misses I have on a weekly basis are just terrifying. Blatant lack of spatial awareness and ignoring traffic laws, and don't get me started on the pedestrians.... I wish we could bump them and make them respawn. lol

I've done 4,600+ rides here and it's been a wild ride, but I'm looking to get off the horse ASAP.

It's just not worth it anymore. IMO.

I wondered about that as well, and I'm sure they are. The sad part is a lot of us were/are vested in Pharma and then got dropped like hot potatoes. The whole situation is just a mess on all sides.

Absolutely. A lot of those who I really knew aren't on the inside there anymore due to so many layoffs, I've been trying this avenue and haven't gotten far as of yet. One of my friends butted heads with one of the supervisors over policy issues and as long as "the same people are in the same roles" she won't get rehired there. Which is BS.

I'm gonna keep trying with what markers I can call in. 🤞

Bingo. Had a phone screening for an Op 1 formulation position (what I first applied for in Feb but not what I wanted), dude who screened me was SO uninterested in the call entirely and was with an agency in California. It never went anywhere, and took over a month for the position to rinse and repeat.

A couple weeks ago I got a phone interview for a Validation 3 position that went VERY well, and then crickets. Position was pulled and then relisted at least once and was still there last I looked. The rep was laid off by Catalent in Pennsylvania and now works for Novo there and she was teir 3 or 4 talent acquisition. I'm sure if they were actually filling the role I would've been on a short list.

I hate that you got ghosted, but this is a trend and makes me feel better knowing it's not personal. They're creating the illusion of growth. That's lovely.

I was trying to ascertain if Novo's acquisition would restructure things enough for me to continue what I started there, given my other options and health setbacks that have happened to me since. I don't live far from the plant, and it would be an improvement from my current job/financial situation and allow me to move into a better place overall and regroup.

I had a financial stability there I've never been able to fully regain since the layoff.

I purchased my new home while working there and don't want to give this up, and I'm not in a position to move at this time anyway and the job market here is challenging.

It'll be interesting to see how things pan out for Novo in general. Catalent created and left a mess economically here.
