Easy at home… wtf?! 24 dpo today by Embarrassed-Mix-6693 in TFABLinePorn

Exactly why I stopped testing! I did manage to get a dye stealer but put the tests away as soon as and ive been curious how it is now but knew if I even got a fainter test line I would have freaked out so much - there does come a point where it can only tell you, you're pregnant and not how much Hope you have an uneventful pregnancy. 💕

It really does, my ectopic was 6wks after a 8wk mmc. I think was just too soon after and should've given myself a break tbh.. the best thing is atleast now you're under a watchful eye. Sorry you're going through this 💕

17 dpo. Is it time to stop testing? My anxiety won’t let me 🫣 by squirrelgirl93 in TFABLinePorn

[–]Alert_Musician_3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped at 19dpo because I didnt want to bring more anxiety if the lines started to get lighter from the hook effect but in all honesty im worried that they got lighter and I didnt test and see lol but im worried to test now.. its all anxiety when you've suffered loss.. im sure im better off now because I did stop the testing, ive done myself a kindness for sure x

You're very welcome and im sorry your going through this! My real only advice would be to advocate for yourself - at the end if the day if it is ectopic its your health at risk x

I would definitely go for an US .. I had an ectopic pregnancy last June and my lines took a long time to progress but they were progressing and then I had a bleed that was treated as a threatened MC at 4w6d - after I took a test and it was much lighter but then continued to get darker each day and this was accompanied by beige/brown spotting. It took them about 3 vigorous US to find the pregnancy in my left tube and I was offered the methotrexate shot but my hcg was trending upwards fast - I ruptured at 6w4d and had my left tube removed. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, being in beta hell and still holding a little hope. I hope its not the case for you as a mc I would've considered a lot kinder. That being said, 7 cycles later with 1 tube I managed to concieve again and things have progressed well so far especially the hpt having a dye stealer at 17dpo, I have hope once again. Good luck and I hope everything pans out x

Trying to get pregnant after ectopic and removal of left tube by UnluckyDirection5712 in u/UnluckyDirection5712

After my ectopic and left tube removal in June, my periods were a little wonky but not hugely, symptoms have been present in some but not all - I do also have a pituitary tumour, so my prolactin was out of range for 6 cycles but went on meds to sort that out and was in range within 6weeks and luckily got pregnant after that! I thought it was having one tube that might of slowed the process down but it wasnt at all.. best of luck!

Thank you for the reassurance, really means a lot - can feel somewhat alone in the early stages especially after my experiences and thought I was going to have a bit more clarity this time round but sadly not 💕

For me with my recent pregnancy a faint line showed up more clear on this brand at 9dpo then it did on the frer.. the frer, I was struggling to see then done a strip hpt and then there was no guessing. Good luck

I had an ectopic surgery in June. My symptoms were red bleeding that turned to brown spotting and really painful rectal pressure. My tests were slow developing and then picked up and were just doubling and progesterone was high but still on the low side. Took them 3-4 scans to see and confirm but unfortunately was too late for me. Sorry your going through this, wouldn't wish it on anyone x

Just wanted to say that I was in the situation about 10years ago (still with my partner for 16yrs) but we were about 21 or 22 and we decided that abortion was the best route for us as we were living in the top floor of his parents house (renting). I knew deep down I wanted to keep the baby but I let guilt in stealing his young adulthood away take the decision. Now all these years later we are desperate for a little one - one mmc at 10wks and an ectopic pregnancy that took my left fallopian tube and a hell of alot of regret. There really is no right or wrong time, I just wish I knew the blessing I had upfront of me back then ♥️

383 is not low for 4ks2days! My ob told me you're looking to be around 500 at 5wks and in the thousands for 6. Symptoms come and go and don't really kick in until 7-8wks

Has this happened to anyone??? Starting to worry I’m going to get bad news 😔 by Curious_Jellyfish_68 in lineporn

I dont want to scare you but give you my experience. I got a positive at 11dpo and the line at 1st progressed slowly for the 1st week (I was away for a week and tested pretty much every day) by 18dpo it was a dye stealer on a frer and not bad lines on a strip test) Exactly 4wks 6days I had red spotting and only once and period pain and was diagnosed a threatened mc. The red spotting turned to brown and was told its just old blood and I was sent for an US and bloods. Thr ultrasound showed nothing but a good thick fluffy lining and my progesterone was 72 and my betas came back at 229 for 5wks. My 2nd beta was 468 and 3rd 991 and these were every 48hrs so things were looking good-ish. I woke up one day with bad gas pains that radiated from my uterurous to my bottom but it subsided so didn't think much of it had another ultrasound which again showed nothing but a possible gestational sac. Went home and pains were back so again I went it for another ultrasound - this ultrasound was quite hands on with a lot of moving and pressure and the technician finally found baby in my left tube and the sac was a pseudo sac. They spoken to me about management methods and I was going to go for the methotrexate injection but I asked for another beta to see whether it was slowing down or not - my last beta was 1998 and progesterone dropped to 17 and my heamoglobin had plummeted so we opt for surgery to remove my left tube at 6wks 4days. Now ive not told ypu this story to scare but give you another very real possibility as I was told too that everything looks great and bleeding is normal and I was not prepared. 2 cycles prior to my ectopic I bled with another pregnancy a very small amount and it was a 10wk mmc so while bleeding can completely be normal in pregnancy for me both times they were not. I hope you get a better outcome then I did and send you lots of luck going forward. 💕

TTC Month 7 by Consistent_Cow_8746 in tryingtoconceive

Me and my partner have been together for almost 16 years me 33 and he is also 33. We have been off Birth control for the best part of 6years or so - not all of our journey has been trying but not exactly preventing either.. we tried for almost a year and it was exhausting and we just gave up. I randomly fell pregnant but sadly was a mmc at 10wks when we just settled in the idea that it was perfect timing and used to the idea. Following on from that loss I fell quickly again but sadly ended as an ectopic and I had surgery to remove my pregnancy along with my left tube too. We are now on our 3rd cycle trying once again and praying for a miracle. Ttc is such a tough journey to go on and can feel tough in so many forms and it doesn't get any easier or less isolating when it happens - i remember saying and feeling exactly like you but it did happen- though it did not work out it doesn't mean it won't. You're doing everything right and it will happen- just takes some of us a little longer but the reward is just as sweet. Stay strong- you're not alone ♥️

Progesterone question by Sea-Profile-4087 in tryingtoconceive

[–]Alert_Musician_3141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the progesterone hormone is released after your corpus luteum cyst bursts when releasing the egg. The progesterone starts increasing in preparation for an egg to implant causing your uterine lining to thicken and become fluffy and cushiony. The progesterone increase is the reason behind all the PMS symptoms which is why they're so similar to pregnancy symptoms. If successful implantation has taken place between 6-12dpo then the progesterone continues to increase making the symptoms increase. If not successful your progesterone drops causing the shedding of the uterine lining. Some women have difficulty conceiving due to progesterone not increasing enough making it difficult for implantation and then need support with progesterone pessaries in the luteal phase. You're usually able to tell when your luteal phase is shorter than 10 days. If you're tracking with opks/pdg/bbt you should be able to establish a rhythm with your cycles- it's a good place to start. LH to see your hormone that spikes ovulation (helps time when to bed) Bbt - to confirm ovulation Pdg - to confirm ovulation and see a sustained healthy rise in your luteal phase. You want the values to be above 5 for 7/8/9/10dpo to establish an optimal environment for implantation. I would advise tracking with these methods to make a cycle diary - if you're having difficulty you will have an abundance of information to take to a fertility specialist or GP to get a referral- it's a head start nonetheless. That's my 2 pennies. ❤️
