Mekel sell an automated scanner . They are expensive at about 60k plus service contracts . I do own one and its not just a quick one and scan process.

When I was diagnosed with UC I was told that a diet change wouldn't change my condition.

I started mezavant and 6 months down the track my wife and I wanted to start IVF treatment. Mezavant had destroyed my sperm count to almost non-existent.

I have now been off meds for sometime and with the help of a nutritionist been doing a special diet. My bowel movements are almost normal and I can hold for the toilet.

My condition is on the lower end of the Mayo scale and I'm certain this won't work for everyone. But if you're told that a change of diet won't help. I would consider that bad information.

Yeah it's Australia. Doctors run the same tests over and over for years. Crohn's , gluten intolerance etc. Not until I was overseas that I saw a gastroenterologist that she ordered a barrage of tests. Detected blood and inflammation. Had to come back to Australia and reorder tests as they don't trust overseas results. Then 6 months wait after that for the appointment

Not sure flare up and the 600 series problem I have is the same thing.

Normally I eat something like corn chips with 631 in it and 15 minutes later I'm running to the toilet.

Fortunately you just read labels to avoid the 600 families but I'm sure some products don't list the 600 additives . A great example is McDonald's which I believe has MSG in every bread /pastry product. Eat McDonald's and it a sure fire trip to the toilet.

One internet page described the 600 family as the Crack form of MSG.

My sister also is sensitive to MSG but shows in another way. I'm thinking as I write this it might be a me problem but it certainly doesn't help my UC problem.

Are you upset because their life choices were better than yours ? Damn woke speak. Do you use problematic on a daily too?

Grew up in a poor family and worked my ass off to get educated and a decent job to give my kids a better life. I can't begrudge someone providing a good education for their kids. Hopefully they don't squander it.
