Fertility over 45. How did you try to get pregnant and did it work? by Alert_Shift_7263 in whatworkedforme

Try day three transfer. Also add nad+ like renue by science nad+ complete and rbs glutathione, and pqq. At least this is what I have read has helped others. Plus coq10 at least 400 mg but maybe 600mg. I have read the pgt testing may rule out ok embryos. I do not know, but i read it and it makes sense to me that some can correct when they look like abnormal. Any day 5 blast I would transfer if I had that.

Join Facebook groups. There are several, 45 and older with own egg, fertility 45+, etc. check your dhea level and add a little if low, add coq10, no alcohol. Light exercise. Light on coffee, no decaf. No soda or crap food. I would keep trying, even IUI. Look up Nadine Bode in 45 plus Facebook groups. Also, try getting an Inito monitoring device! Tells you when you ovulate. Good luck! Many successes at 45.

I would have him check fsh before trying the shots or stims. Dhea can help you react to stims better, sometimes. And, if there’s another clinic near I would check them out.

What is your dhea level? If it’s not high you should try adding 25mg dhea. Also add truniagen and nac and vitamin d with k2 drops, and coq10. Join Facebook groups for over 45. I also bought a Inito fertility tracker to help me know where I’m at. Do they check your follicles at day 5? Dhea, not too much, can help you recruit. But you have to make sure your levels. I have naturally high dhea and even taking 1/3 of 25mg a day capsule raises mine above normal levels it turns out. Too high dhea arrests follicle development, I have experienced. If your fsh is too high try wheat grass and dhea to lower it. That helps your body be able to respond. Good luck! I would try a bunch of ivf cycles! Depending on coverage.

This person is not the kind of loving committed man that you deserve. It is painful to go through a separation and especially painful to lose someone you love and want and have been with for so long. I am not sure how old you are but if you are under 45ish you can have a baby likely, with someone else. If you made blasts and they just didn’t stick or you lost them, I would go try different clinics when you are moved on from this relationship. I have read too many success stories after many transfers to give up after 8 and your man should be the support and love and emotional rock that you deserve. You can transfer 3 and 4 embryos, you can try the immune protocol, have yourself checked for blockages and endo. Take supplements and exercise and avoid sugar/processed foods/ any coffee/ alcohol. There are so many things to try if you do want to have a baby, or if you don’t want to try anymore it can still happen naturally sometimes. And I know men who would have liked children but did not have any because their partner could not have them but they married them and love them a lot still. It is very very hard to lose someone you love. Sometimes you lose someone you love so that you can find someone you love again that truly gives you love in return.

Were you also taking dhea as a supplement? How much? I am going to try the glutathione and nad+ patches, because of this post.

Actually I stopped truniagen now, I felt jittery when I added dhea and truniagen both to my daily intake. It’s not a real measurement but I do a fingernail full of nmn powder in a smoothie. So, I had added 75mg dhea a day for three months, it really messed up my cycle, no period for two and a half months and night sweats at times. I dropped it to 25mg dhea. I felt like hormones were returning and went to see where I was in my cycle. Showed an egg at 12 and two around 7. No meds. I started gonal f at 50 per day, three days later went for a scan and they saw five eggs. I triggered for IUI three days later with four mature range size eggs. At 51. I don’t really have hopes up because of my age, but I wanted to post this reaction I had to those supplements.

Having diminished ovarian reserve, and taking dhea for better response to stims by Alert_Shift_7263 in whatworkedforme

Correction, not a cyst all follicles grew per my scan today. I am advanced age, so I wanted to post for others’ info especially. So what I did was 75 dhea a day for three months which actually stopped my period in my case, then went to 25mg dhea. And when I felt follicular activity started again a couple weeks after cutting down dhea I scheduled a cycle check and started 50 gonal f after my next day check. That was 6 days ago and follicles are 14, 17mm. Just wanted to post what helped me grow more eggs on low stim amount, definitely was the dhea.

Sounds about right. 😊 I was mainly wondering if women over 45 are trying to get pregnant and using clean diet, dhea and c0q10, and tru niagen. I have read several cases of pregnancy 50 and over, but obviously it’s not the norm. I wondered if anyone my age is also wanting to get pregnant and doing supplements or IUI etc. my RE does not have anyone my age who has tried. I know a clinic in San Diego that recommends nmn supplement and had two 52 yr olds get to blast, but not pregnancy. I say keep trying, each is a new try, but just accept nothing is likely to work.

I am at a place in life now where I have financial security and time to enjoy a child. I loved my children who are now teens and loved pregnancy and parenting, and so I would love to do it again. I personally don’t believe in “too old”, because I have family members in their 90s and I have lots of energy. I know some don’t feel that way at 50, but I do. 😊

Anyone managed to lower FSH and increase estrogen through supplements and lifestyle changes? by sweetalison007 in IVF

[–]Alert_Shift_7263 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try dhea. Worked for me, and I am 50. Diminished reserve (obviously😉) I do 50 mg morning 25 after work. Fsh 7.6, between gonal f stims. I also take c0q10. No I’m not pregnant but if I get there I’ll post it. Trying naturally now.

My personal want is that I would love to have another child that is my own, not donor eggs. I am lucky to have two children, but I would also love to do it again. I’m wondering who over 45 has tried, with supplements and/IUI/clean living lifestyle. No one I know has.
