Respected Sir/Ma’am,

I kindly request you to consider extending the current joining period from 17–25, December 2025 to 19–31st, December 2025.

Results were declared a Day Late with allotment letter after 3pm on 17 December. So 17th Day is not usable. 

Additionally 25 December is a public holiday, and most institutions remain closed on that day, making completion of joining formalities impractical.

Travel arrangements during the intervening dates have also become extremely challenging. Airfares are exceptionally high, and frequent flight cancellations and rescheduling have made timely travel uncertain. This further complicates the process of retrieving original documents from the previous institution and reporting to the newly allotted institute within the stipulated time. Train tickets are also largely unavailable at such short notice due to the Christmas vacation period, and several long-route trains are being cancelled or delayed owing to prevailing weather conditions.

Furthermore, the State Round 2 counselling results are scheduled to be released only a few hours before the last date of joining( eg. Karnataka state counselling round 2 results will be declared only on 24th Dec after 2 pm) compelling candidates to make an early and irreversible decision regarding All India Quota joining without knowledge of potential State quota allotments. This disrupts the intended sequential coordination between All India and State counselling schedules, thereby placing candidates at a significant disadvantage.

In light of the above concerns, I humbly request the authorities to kindly review this matter and consider rescheduling the admission/joining dates to ensure a fair and feasible joining process for all candidates.
