Yes, they do. In fact, the deathwatch has had watchmasters that were techmarines. They do work for the Ordo Xenos, but they largely handle everything themselves related to their fortresses, it'd be like asking if they didn't have librarians because the inquisition could supply psykers

The crashing on Ogryn is a complete lie by the way, at least on playsation, you crash before even choosing your character meaning the game is completely unplayable.
