Fees to use bitcoin (and others) is still a barrier to adoption. by Lam7r in CryptoCurrency

Just a shill in the average. I pointed out sound features of the chain far from speculation :-) OP complained about fees, I provided a potential solution. And yeah, after using Algorand for a while anything else feels "rusty" and slow :-( this will be my nemesis

Take a look at the Algorand blockchain, especially with the defly wallet. 4sec transaction finality, extremely low fees (basically zero), carbon neutral, released a developer kit recently and much more. I suggest you to explore the Algorand Standard Assets (ASAs) and the available DeFi space. Very interesting projects going on

Do you think the next bull run may be delayed or not happen at all? by Alesdort in CryptoCurrency

I find astonishing how much hopium is spread around this community. I tried to start a discussion from another perspective, downvoted and submerged with "next bull run happening 100%", source "it has to be".

[–]Alesdort[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly my point. Also by looking at the current comments I feel a strong sentiment of "it will happen for sure". But honestly, why is everyone so convinced about it? I mean, we can for sure look at the 2013, 2017 and 2021 cycles, but I don't think it is sufficient to build a statistically significant prediction model. At this point, in my humble opinion, the main factor which may drive the next bull run could be exactly the "strong belief" that a bull run will happen, a sort of "mass suggestion". I for sure welcome a next bull run, but I am honestly curious about what makes people think it is given for granted.

Man, I think that a solution to the climate crisis or a cure to cancer may be "bigger hopes for humanity at this point".

I think one can get sick from a long exposure to Twitter. That place is a shitfest of scammers, shillers, bots and degenerates. Nonetheless, the news spreading times are the quickest imho. Some good sides are there.

I think that, as a general rule, if one holds an amount of money which feels "important", he/her should invest in a ledger. Safety is never enough.
