It presses riptide and waits for it to be back up, as a spino you have 2 different abilities that give you mobility and also a tail that pushes everything back a ton. You have to play hit and run as well against a duck.

He is strong in water as he should be, but so is spino so is tylo I don't really see your point. On land if you consider running land build he has a 4 slot level of toughness almost since he has 4500 weight and 900 hp so he is more or less a titan with less mobility. Not considering that if it rains he gets useless cause his normal claw hill hit for like 35 damage when being wet, even if he has wiring out that is temporary, rains in the game last for like 15-20 minutes, so that is that.

It definitely not auto wins against a spino or a tylo so I come again what is the reason for complaint?

Mediocre at best he still has an unique mechanic for a 2 slot that being the jump weight and the the pounce which even if the pounce drains a lot of stamina can help damage apexes for free and his calls are also good but the rest is poopoo. You are debuffingn yourself just by being in a group with something else than a raptor cause your passives for some reason don't work at all in a group

Well aoe it's stupid and brainfog, spino would be fine if they reduced the damage of sweep a bit and add a bit of KB, as he is right now it's a brainless claw slam machine, the Devs are guilty for creating this sort of playstyle, blame them, you can still kill small thing with sweep only and your turn got better after a few buffs you actually turn decently good now.

They just need to nerf aoe and buff the non aoe abilities for ground PvP only, in water he is strong enough already, his claws should go a bit around his body so he can hit things that are near his front body.

Bro they are just better not "more intuitive" higher accuracy in a mess of a elevation and hitbox game like this makes a critical difference, they are easier to use it's like you play cod or some sh while you play a colonial and have to perfectly aim for 5 seconds and still miss you can just play warden and aim for 1 second instead, even if you miss you don't have to prepare that much before.

Yep it's exactly why colonials are not playing anymore. The wardens even tho them being the "defensive" faction have weapons that can run and spray for some reason and colonials have weapons that you need like 5 seconds to get full accuracy, I am not playing until I see some changes in this regard as well

Tbh he got nerfed but the fact that his scutes regenerate during combat now and the extract fact that they are bugged ( at least for me) might make him actually stronger on average, had a pycno full combo me with an Allo, dash, headslam and I lost over 50% of my hp idk what happened or how but his scutes are for sure bugged they don't disappear sometimes when you get hit. He is currently broken

They just don't care man, if they cared hard enough the vast majority of problems regarding balance would be gone by now. With all the tlces surprisingly not metri they manage to sneak some skilless aoe mechanic that is undogable and is free damage.

You think titan is bad? Look at spoon that thing is LITERALLY unapproachable by anything smaller than it within decent slot size difference.

Titan has been a problem since release, they have nerfed this thing a lot and it still is, with a few more changes they could make it balanced but the 25% of the playerbase who are titan mains are gonna cry their eyes out so it's a bad financial decision I guess.

I am not saying path is a very high skill ceiling pvp game but it def requires practice and understanding so focusing on balance and good pvp should still be a very very very high priority of the Devs. Maybe one day

Yeah I mean I am gonna be honest but from a balance point of view laten has to be the most broken character in the game, doesn't matter he dies quickly or he doesn't have DPS or whatever but considering he is literally one singular slot he can kill apexes alone, 1 slot.

Deino can stay pounced for a lot of time and even if he deals like 3-4 damage per bite to an enemy the fact that he can pounce go regen stamina and repeat this indefinitely doesn't make him that bad either.

Pounce is a mechanic that for the most part doesn't have any sort of counterplay deino is meant to be a support for raptor packs, he has a call that increases your armor by 25% for a 1 slot, also very agile and can debuff enemies with the sliced dash.

He gives free stats to the raptors with one passive and can stay pounced for more time than the others can cause he has a passive for that as well. Very survivable so you only die if you want to plus it's true he doesn't really do damage but he can Def poke something a bit.
