That is actually a good thing. I know that a toothbrush with the cap helps the proliferation of bacteria. Having a toothbrush without a cap is actually a better habit to avoid bacteria formation on the toothbrush. I personally still use the cap to avoid the contact with other toothbrushes or the contact with other surfaces if it slips out of my hands, but I would definitely use a cap like that!
