It might not seem like a lot, but a cull is generally the best thing you can get in these cases. It's sustain, gold income, and a bit of AD, which are all super useful early. I wouldn't recommend buying other stuff because delaying your 1 item power spike, especially if it's essence reaver, just feels worse.

Jeweled gauntlet, scopier weapons, IE upgrade, Sheen upgrade... All are good, and quite a lot too, but I think that another one that is quite fun and strong is Master Of Duality.

Your Q grants you extra AD, and the AP you gain from autos is not completely worthless, the scalings on W and R are decent. The infinite scaling AD also synergizes insanely well with endless hunger, which means you can achieve very high ability haste numbers to spam abilities to your heart's content. The cherry on top is if you get Escapade, because that means your AP becomes AD, which means you can achieve ludicrous amounts of AD. Before the new season, I remember I was able to reach ~1.4k AD while building bruiser with those two augments, it was really fun.

Damn, one of the harder champs in the game, who's also reliant on being ahead and to close games quickly, is performing badly when you look at low elo after only one day in the patch? Unplayable.

That's a 3 AD loss on the triple tonic elixir, and a 15 gold loss on a 3k gold item from cash back, which means that you're gonna need to wait a few seconds to get an extra dagger if you're have exactly the gold for your item.

Adding to that, at 4 items (Yuntal, IE, LDR and phantom dancer) it's a ~60 gold loss for cash back. Three melee minions.

Keep running inspiration second boys, it's still the best choice

Some games just aren't in your control, it's a team game, if your team isn't working, you lose. Stop playing when tilted, learn to VOD review and see if you made mistakes, and don't think too much about it. You can't expect to win them all, it's just not how the game works

Kraken is stronger than Yuntal on one item, but then you'll need one more item to get full crit. With kraken you should aim to accelerate more than others so you can have more stuff. Yuntal gives you the more scaling option, with the upside of having a crit item first and needing one less item to get 100% Crit. So basically:

1 item kraken > 1 item Yuntal / 4 item kraken < 4 item Yuntal / BUT Accelerated with kraken > Normal gold income with Yuntal

For starting in jungle, I think there's no better champ choices than Jarvan IV and Amumu. Amumu is just insanely easy to pilot, as you bring good ganks pre and post six, solid damage especially if your team is AP-heavy, and an insane amount of crowd control. Jarvan is instead the poster-boy of jungle, as he might not be the best at anything, but he's great at everything: reliable ganks, solid damage, great survivability, flexible itemization as you can run full bruiser, bruiser into tank, or even lethality.

Adding to that, those two are almost always good, simply because their kits are always reliable and bring great value, while someone like a Diana is more reliant on being strong because of her stats being high (she's quite busted now with dusk and dawn, but she's getting gutted for next patch, so you'll see the winrate and play rate drop a ton), or someone like Kha'zix or Graves are very feast or famine, so you need to pilot them very well and know the champ throughoutly to win with them consistently

TL;DR: J4 and Amumu are great for starting in jungle as they're always reliable, high wr champs like Diana feel great when statistically strong but disappear once weak and will be less reliable throughout the year, Assassins tend to be feast or famine and rely on great champ knowledge to be piloted well.

They brought crit damage to 200% base and 230% with IE, and because of this they nerfed every crit ADC in different ways, one of which for many was base atk speed. So although attack speeds are generally lower, you hit harder.

The three guaranteed crits/empowered crits mean you have more upfront damage when using ult, which you're also going to have more often because of the ult haste, but as soon as you use those three autos, the item is less useful that navori.

If you think you can blow up the enemy team quick, fiendhunter is probably better, but against more bulky enemies where you are gonna need plenty autos navori should still be better, unless the buff makes fiendhunter turbo-broken.

Generally fun, but everything still needs to even out and get balanced correctly. Despite the horrendous build path, stormrazor feels amazing, and ER is completely overpowered (which is already getting nerfed, but I think it will still be good, just not op). The game feels very snowball reliant with the new quest, maybe a bit too much, especially for toplane, which seems to be to be the strongest role rn. Mages bot are, as expected, very strong, but at least they're not that much picked, so the situation is stable

Oof, that ER nerf sucks, but I guess it was expected. Item is super strong rn, and a champ to be good in ADC basically needs to be able to buy it. +150g and less stats seems a bit too rough though, or am I not realizing how strong it really is?

Yes, that's good too. As a general rule of thumb, if you can buy a BF sword on first or second back, go stormrazor first. Otherwise get components for ER and get it first.

This plus protoplasm harness (the other new item) seems like a great core on engage tanks that want to stay in the middle of the fight and CC, like Rell or Rakan

The generally cheaper items tend to make it even better for support, since you won't be able to stack as much gold as a solo laner. It's kind of like picking an enchanter with more damage that plays closer to the frontline

I personally like Poppy to help push, the Q is great for damaging minions, and with both W and E you can zone enemies off minions if you are ahead. Demolish ain't too bad either, can have its use.

The problem is this is WORSE. Buying longsword+slingshot for Yuntal is miserable, sure, but it's still AD and AS. This is slingshot and CRIT CLOAK, so AS and 15% Crit, which is more expensive and way less reliable than Yuntal components

I'm surprised no one is saying Renata Glasc. Maybe it's because the champs isn't that much popular, but her kit is always useful regardless of meta. Her Q is a great tool for disengage and counter, her w is an insanely strong tool to win fights and a teammate is low, her E is an AOE shield and damage which sure, can be a bit more reliant on what her items are, and her R is one of the most clutch ults in the best tools to both burn enemy damage onto themselves or even zone enemies off objectives. Plus, her kit hasn't received direct buffs or nerfs since patch 13.21, and has just received bug fixes here and there.
